We ordered the pork sandwich and it was delicious. Tons of meat with just enough bbq sauce on a super soft bun and hot pickles on the side. Will definitely order again and could only eat half.

This is in reference to the Fairfield, CA to-go location only. I ordered from here when the service first started and the food & service was pretty good. Just ordered now and things were off. My ticket actually says silverware, bbq sauce, etc… things you need when you’re traveling and are options to select when ordering online. However, when I got back to my hotel, I had no silverware, no napkins, no barbecue sauce, nothing. The brisket is average, the beans are good, but the mac & cheese is bland and tasteless. Not sure if I will give them another chance, they need to turn it around if they want to be successful. If you do order from them, double check everything before you leave the restaurant.

Bought extra sides and this is what i get? Small, soupy beans? Barely a serving there and they charge $5+ for one. I’ve been ordering to-go here and i’ve never received such until now. Mind you, i spent $200 and they won’t even give you extra sauces.

The ribs were perfectly cooked. Tender fall off the bone good. Seasoned to taste not overly sauced. The sweet corn was just that-sweet. The chopped pork sandwich was a tasty surprise. Not bland, but again, seasoned to perfection. Meals are well worth the drive! The chocolate cake was moist with just enough frosting. We got our dinners to go, but the restaurant looked clean and maintained.

Worst waste of money I’ve spent! I love famous Dave’s and it’s nothing like what I picked up tonight. I got the Tuesday special. Bland, flavorless, a mess! The ribs, chicken, and chopped pork were super mid. I had to add seasoning and bbq sauce and put it in the oven. I WILL NEVER PATRONIZE THIS LOCATION AGAIN! I see why this is a “takeaway only” location.. they don’t want you to see the shame in their eyes, as you’re eating this garbage.

The restaurant was short staffed, an you realized it when you walked in the door, watch your attitudes if you dine. Be prepared, you’re gonna be waiting for an available hand, I work food service so I understood completely. THANIA was responsive an did her duties, she gave you space which let you enjoy your food. I have been to Famous Dave’s in other states and the food was great. This location did not live up to the name. The ribs were seasoned differently and tasted like they were oven baked. My family was very excited to learn there was a location near us but are very disappointed. We will not be returning to this location.

I didn’t realize this place existed til I did an uber eats order/delivery… so sadly I did not try the food yet. But such a homey, feel good, grandma’s farm house vibe… and everyone working was so friendly. I look forward to trying the food
