This happened on the evening of Feb 12, 2026. The employees at this location are extremely unprofessional and do not follow protocol. I’m a doordasher that had to pick up 2 separate orders. These orders are supposed to be labeled with a receipt with the customer name on the outside. Neither of my orders were labeled with anything. On top of that, the young lady did not give me one of the drinks that was ordered. The drive thru window was closed and it took us at least 2 minutes to get her attention because she was so busy giggling with whoever else was working she wasn’t paying attention. She didn’t even hear when we honked the horn several times. If you deliver food, beware picking up from this place in the evening. Only incompetent kids work here. If I get dinged for delivering the wrong orders I’m updating this review.

Half the chicken at twice the price…
I ordered a bucket (~23 tenders) but when I got home the bucket was half of that with a dozen tenders.
This was supposed to feed my family…
The number on the receipt is not valid and when I finally did reach the store, the only thing they said I could do is drive back for a refund. This would be a 25-30 minute drive.
Apparently they cannot work will not do refunds over the phone.
Very disappointed and about 25 dollars poorer for the decision to get food here.

This location did not disappoint! We were met with friendly smiles and warm, delicious food! My children ask to go here often! We have met the new owners and they are so down-to-earth, family-friendly, and Godly oriented. So glad they’re in Trussville!

I was in an area near a Guthrie’s & a friend told me that I just HAD to try them because they’re the GOAT. I didn’t see it. In my opinion, the chicken fingers & sauce taste exactly like Zaxby’s, without any of the options of Zaxby’s menu. The sweet tea was okay, but Milo’s is still the best! Even though there’s plenty of food on the plate, I doubt I’ll ever go back to Guthrie’s due to the lack of menu options & no indoor seating options.

Pulled up at 7:45 tonight to place an order and there was a cone blocking the drive thru. I Googled it and learned that they close at 8:00. Ok, 8:00 is really early to close but also, don’t just close early, guys. This is a drive thru only location (no inside seating or anything). Have always enjoyed Guthrie’s but not a fan of a portly run/poorly managed establishment, as someone who has worked in management, in a customer facing capacity for 16 years.

Horrible experience here. I didn’t mind waiting for my chicken, as they were cooked to order but my strips tasted like burnt grease. Management, change your grease! I was really upset to get home and open my box, only to find that it tasted like pure burned grease. I went to the location in Auburn on last week and it was excellent. No excuses for this
