There’s nothing like eating a delicious meal with such beautiful decorations all around you. On top of that, our waiter was excellent and the food was fairly priced, in other words, not hard on the wallet at all. There is plenty of parking and if you take the kids, they will also enjoy the beautiful scenery inside. You don’t have to go out of town for a good meal which makes it a 10 in my book with the cost of gas nowadays.

I travel a lot, but I am from West Virginia. So for me to say that this is the BEST atmosphere in a bar and that they have the BEST bartender I’ve ever experienced (Ms. Amy,) then it’s a LOT coming from me. If I could give her and the bar 10 stars, I would.

Just stopped in for a bite and a beer. It was really good, and pretty inexpensive. I got a fish sandwich, which came with fries, and ordered a 22 ounce local craft beer to wash it all down. $6.75 for the sandwich and $4.75 for the beer, pretty reasonable prices I’d say. The fish sandwich was pretty tasty, it was cod. If you go into the lounge just be aware that smoking is allowed. It doesn’t really bother me but I figured I’d mention it because I’m from Colorado and there really isn’t any bar or restaurant that allows you to smoke inside of it anymore.

Ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries. Burger was served with one side completely burnt and charred black. Upon showing this to my waitress, she simply tells me, “We have a new cook, I’ll let him know”. A solid five minutes after she leaves my table and I finish my burnt, disgusting burger since no one came back to my table, a cook comes out from the kitchen and asks to see my burger. Told her I had finished eating it. At this point in time I had finished my fries as well; my plate was empty and pushed to the side. I waited another five minutes for my waitress to bring my check (hopefully with some sort of discount), but she never reappeared. Feeling pretty salty about my $10 burger that sucked and lackluster service, I threw $15 on the table and was walking out when I finally spotted my waitress, who was sitting down at a table with her face buried in her phone. Definitely won’t ever go back and do not recommend going there. Completely disappointed! Worth noting there was only three tables with customers. Me, a lone ranger, a two top and a three top. Apparently us six customers, which came in staggered, was enough to put this crew in the weeds.

Georgia Ann was fantastic! The food was great, strongly recommended the crispy chicken ranchero with some fresh cut fries! Really good stuff. Would recommended to anyone living around or passing through Moundsville, West Virginia.
