We stopped in here on our way back from Galveston. The tableside guacamole is good. The teas are huge. We ordered cheese enchiladas with gravy sauce. Sadly, we were disappointed. The gravy tasted like spaghetti sauce and had taco meat on top. I’m giving three stars because of this and our waitress was not the friendliest. She wasn’t rude but just seemed like she didn’t really want to be there. I didn’t get a copy of my receipt either. She just put one copy on the table and walked off, didn’t thank us. I did tip her but had to leave that receipt on the table so she could get her tip from our card. Atmosphere was nice and hostess was very friendly.

The service was horrible. After being seated, it took awhile just to get our drinks ordered. Then almost 10 min to get our food ordered. When the food came out, 3 out of 7 of ours meals were wrong. It took 2 different waiters, and a Manager to get the food corrected. Our drinks were not refilled. The waitress walked by our table several times, yet did not even stop to make sure we were good. The sad part about it, they were not busy . This is the second time I’ve been there and both times same results. That will be the last!!!

Went in today to try guacamole’s for my first time, and the experience was wonderful! I’m a big fan of ceviche, and their ceviche was amazing! For dinner, I had their carnitas plate, and they were some of the best carnitas I had in a while. Also, their margaritas were top notch! Outstanding staff and management! They were so friendly and welcoming! I will be coming back, and I will be recommending to my family and friends!

The food was terrible, unfortunately. Some of the worst I’ve had. My mouth ain’t shy to any fork, but I tell you what….I did not eat my food here. I couldn’t do it. The meat was so cheap and chewy. I got carnitas, and it wasn’t carnitas at all! I’m pretty sure it was a tongue, maybe. Bleh! The Chile Rellanos were awful, too. Over breaded, dry as I’ll get out, and not much flavor. Won’t be back.

The food and drinks were amazing!! The menu is extensive and has authentic Mexican fare. The ceviche and micheladas were half price when we visited on Sunday. It’s was all delicious and the atmosphere is great too. We will be back!!

Table side guacamole was good. Oysters were good, fresh and cold. Micheladas I had were nice and cold. Campechana was good with plenty of avocado and saltine crackers to go with it. I also ordered Camarones al mojo de ajo but the shrimp were overcooked and I did not get the flavor of the mojo de ajo. Basically just buttered onions and the tomatoes they made it with which by the way I’ve never seen made that way. Everything else was good though. Good atmosphere and service.
