The pizza is good, BUTTTTT they are ripping you off I ASSURE YOU. I ordered a small pizza and a small salad came out to $46.82. I said to her that’s a really big pizza how am I going to eat all of that she said save some for later. See the picture they up charge you and act like they don’t know nothing. The picture tells it all, you ask for a small they will make you pay for a large. But my thing is just because you give me a large pizza doesn’t mean I’m willing to pay that much. NEVER COMING BACK

Pizza was great, nice flavor, crispy crust. Just all around perfection. Had the coconut truffle ice cream for desert which tasted like an almond joy very delicious. All around 5/5 great service Joe greeted us and made sure everything was great !

Terrible food . I never ever leave a review but as soon as we walked in the entire place smelled like cleaning chemicals. We order the house salad which was very good and the traditional reg pizza. We added on 4 Toppings when the bill came it was $4.00 a topping we paid $16 for 4 toppings! That’s a $43 pizza pie for 8 slices! The pizza had absolutely no flavor & the crust was soggy & wet. The table parmigiana cheese was also molded & when we told the waiter he just moved it to another table. We paid $90 for a pizza, salad, glass of wine & a Snapple! Needless to say we will never go back, the place is Soo out dated & the shopping center has become a ghost town. About an hour later, my mouth feels like it is having a reaction it’s tingling & feels numb. Will never go back again.

Solid brick oven pizza! We ordered one margarita pizza and one with mushrooms both were really tasty. I really like the crust it’s thin and crispy with a great sauce. I give the margarita a 7.5/10 and the mushroom pizza 7.8/10. It’s definitely going to be in my pizza rotation. Only complaint is I ordered a few cans of coke $3 a can is too expensive.

Only eat here if you go and eat in the restaurant or pickup yourself and live within 5 minutes driving time. Ordered takeout via UberEats. Not only was I charged for a $20 item that was not even available but the food was cold and the quality was poor. Don’t waste your money on the Garlic Bread King’s item. Joe is clueless about garlic bread. Both ends of the bread were horrible so you only have the center that is decent enough to eat. The pizza arrived as cold as outside. It’s NYC in the spring so that is chilly. Who wants chilly pizza??? In NYC of all places. To make matters worse, the sauce was super spotty. A slice, one slice, was 70% and nothing else. No cheese. Huh??? No dice. What Grimaldi’s recipe is this??? I’m still waiting for my refund for the missing item. Dumbo would shut Douglaston down if the knew how bad they represented the brand. If this is what franchises do, stop the program.

Their calzone is tasty but you NEVER GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. I ALWAYS order the 18 inch calzone and receive much smaller. Usually about 14 inches which is the lowest priced size. Here’s 4 examples. Get it corrected already

I really wanted to totally love this place! It was ok, but not a place I would go back to unless I was in the immediate area and really hungry-the meat lovers pizza was good but my pizza lacked real flavor-you could tell the shrimp were not seasoned and most of the other toppings didn’t have great flavor either! I didn’t mind paying the high price when I thought it was going to be awesome but to just have promise but not much flavor was disappointing-I also didn’t like that there plates stay on the tables and don’t look spotless so they probably stay out -I gave them 3 stars because the waitress was friendly, attentive, and efficient!!! The waitress deserved 5 stars

Pizza is really good, bordering on great sometimes. The wait staff is awesome. They’re so warm and personable. No pretentious baloney or. Just warm and real and so very New York in their hospitality. Feel like everybody’s a neighborhood fixture. Love it. Laurie is awesome, love hearing her pick up the phone when I need to grab a pie to go. Know my order is going to be done right and I’ll be in and out in a New York minute.

I normally don’t write reviews but come on. It’s bitter from the first bite. Flip it over and look at it, you expect us to eat this and die out of cancer later? It is burnt all the way. A 99c new york slice has better quality.
