Usually I love Green Cactus but this one didn’t really meet my expectations. It was completely dead and there were two people working. The staff was nice so that wasn’t our issue. We ordered the tortas which, usually, they come pretty piled high with meat and toppings. These were pretty lackluster. Not sure if it was just the day or what but it just wasn’t what we were expecting. The chips were pretty overcooked and just a few graced our plates. Other Green Cactus’ are much better but we’ll give this one another try to see if it was just the day we went.

I was in the area on business and saw the sign and pulled in. Had a long and pleasant conversation with the person taking my order and before I knew it I had a fresh made to order burrito in my hands. I love Mexican food and travel a lot but I am sick of large chain so called Mexican and I’m always skeptical. I watched as every ingredient in my burrito was cooked and put together. They claim to have fresh Mex-food and that is exactly what I had. I wish it was closer to home so I could be a frequent flyer.

I’m disappointed in the way the staff stops answering the phone about 15 minutes before closing. It just happened to me again tonight. They actually just let the phone ring off the hook. They supposedly close at 8 tonight and I’ve been calling since 745 to try and place an order. That’s the last time I bother. Not to mention that there was one time my husband and I got really sick from the food. This place sucks! The Stony Brook location is way better!

The food was super fresh and delicious. They make everything in full view so you can see the food is freshly made. Definitely try the Burrito “one foot”. It’s the biggest burrito around…a definite must for big appetites. Also, they will accommodate any dietary needs very willingly.

All of the food was excellent made with fresh ingredients. My only complaint would be the way the Xangos are made. Way too hard & flaky than it should be. I would recommend the ones in Stony Brook. 100x better than the ones here

Went to the one in Oakdale. Terrible…that was NOT real Mexican food. Enchiladas had no sauce. There was rice inside of it and the meat was dry. My husband had a burrito…just as bad. This place is not the real thing!!!!!
