I grew up going to Grays but haven’t been in almost a decade. I was shocked at the prices considering I’ve been to other places recently with homemade ice cream that are not nearly as expensive. The kids loved their ice cream. My husband had the butter crunch but said there wasn’t much crunch in it. I had the orange pineapple which was always my staple there. It was good but not as good as I remember it to be. The main issue is that at the bottom of the cup there was maple walnut mixed in. Luckily I don’t have an allergy but this could have been very dangerous for someone that does. Overall, I’m disappointed and won’t be making the hour drive again for awhile.

Every time I go, I can’t help but take a visit back to my childhood with my family sitting on the rock wall enjoying ice cream and looking at the cows. The cows are long gone, but the ice cream is still the best hard homemade ice cream ever(they have never had soft serve, but you won’t mind! After my nostalgic visit, I purchased the prepackaged quart of blueberry to bring home.

It’s well worth the scenic ride to historic Tiverton Four Corners and try Grey’s Ice Cream! One of my favorites is Grapenut, it’s like eating frozen grapenut pudding. Mmmmm so good!
