The staff here are amazing and their baked goods are delicious! We were in town for a family reunion and I was responsible for a 30 person breakfast. I called a couple days ahead and asked about breakfast pastries. They answered my questions and put an order in for pickup the morning of the meal. Promptly at 7am they had everything ready to go. Warm and delicious smelling is an understatement!

This place has an AMAZING bakery — everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The woman working was incredibly friendly and made the whole experience even sweeter.
If there’s one area for improvement, it would be the atmosphere. With a little extra attention to cleanliness and a more homey feel, it could match the quality of the baked goods and make the space just as inviting as the baked goods themselves!

Amazing brownies. Surprisingly good latte made by the girl inside.
Place seemed empty, but lots of bread behind the counter.
Don’t be turned away from the cleanliness, it’s not the most appealing, but gotta look past it the product was awesome. This place would be a lot more attractive cleaned up. However I stand by a great latte.

My boyfriend rated it a 5.
So we split the difference.
The inside was very drab and old/ seemed unclean (dusty).
We were basically the only customers that day.
Tried to order three things but they basically had nothing in stock.
They did make a mean Italian sandwich for my boyfriend.
The dessert- blonde coconut caramel bar- was amazing!! 10/10 on that!
Good prices.

Best darn HOMEMADE cinnamon roll warmed up, with the owner serving it up. He was over the top wonderful. $4 for a cinnamon roll, excellent coffee. Cozy atmosphere. Support this local bakery over and over if you can!

I went inside to get a frozen lemonade because the sign outside was advertising it. Once inside, they said it was no longer seasonally available. This place would benefit from better planning for what they advertise as well as cleaning and sprucing up the customer area. They were very nice and I just got a coffee instead, but I was surprised at how dirty things looked.

Delicious sandwich and salad! The potato salad was also really tasty. Employees were very friendly. Took a bit for the food but was worth it. By 3 they were already out of soup and coleslaw. Will have to come earlier next time.

We make a point to visit every year, and it’s become one of our favorite traditions. No matter how many times we return, the warm, welcoming atmosphere and incredible smells never get old. It’s the perfect stop to take a break from the hustle of the Dells and especially refreshing on hot days, thanks to the cool interior and laid-back vibe.
During our most recent visit, we picked up our must-have Cinnamon Chip loaf. A sweet, perfectly textured bread that’s always a hit in our house. Each slice is packed with just the right amount of cinnamon and melty chips, making it ideal for breakfast, snacks, or even dessert. We also decided to try something new this time and grabbed a loaf of classic white bread, which was wonderfully soft and fresh—perfect for sandwiches or toast.
As always, the staff were friendly and happy to offer samples, which helped us narrow down our choices (and convinced us we need to try even more next year!). We also appreciated the clean, well-maintained restroom. It may be a small thing, but always welcome during a day out!
There’s a comforting consistency to Great Harvest that we love. Whether it’s your first visit or your fifteenth, you’ll find great bread, kind people, and a calm, inviting space to relax. It’s a staple of our annual trip, and we already can’t wait to stop in again next year!
