Excellent handmade pasta shop. it was too delicious. staff were very helpful and friendly. Vegan options were very helpful as I can’t eat meat. The garlic fried egg pasta was excellent. The crispy bread slices on it were great.

I had the pork belly Mac and cheese and my boyfriend had the carbonara. Mine was really good along with the garlic bread however I found the carbonara to be a bit salty. Service was terrible. After we got our food no one ever checked on us again. We kept looking for our server for refill on our drinks. Had to actually go up to her to request a drink and she still forgot. Asked another girl for refills and she didn’t bother to even ask what the drink was so I didn’t get the drink I had. I did notice that they were quick to clean up after people left but are horrible at checking on the customers still needing service. They also have stations where they have to go boxes so they really don’t service you at all. They have you pay ahead of time and ask for tip of course. If I knew I wasn’t going to get service I wouldn’t of tipped.

Vodka Pasta with sausage was great although I couldn’t really taste much of the vodka… it was mainly tomato sauce lol. Mac and cheese was also pretty unique but tasty. Wasn’t too much of a fan of the a la carte style we’re you have to rush your decision at the front desk before you can get seated

The food was delicious. Love the open kitchen. I felt like I was at a fancy restaurant but with a relaxed atmosphere. The water container and cups are already on the table so you can serve yourself. Also available on the table are utensils since seating is available at either two of the high top tables. There were two booths, another table, and plenty of patio seating. In addition to that there were four seats available at a bartop facing the kitchen. Take out is available which is very convenient as I imagine seats can go quick during busy times.

Grassa offers excellent homemade pastas with laid back atmosphere. Came here for lunch and ordered Pork Belly Mac & Cheese, Spaghetti alla Chitarra, Fusilli a la Vodka (spicy), and Burrata. Everything was very tasty. Highly recommend~

I got the Sweet Corn Triangoli and the seasonal burrata and nearly cried when I tried the pasta. I know it is only a seasonal dish but if they ever bring it on full time I may have to move to Portland. I’m also dying to try their Whipped Potato pasta if they bring that back so maybe I’ll just move here regardless. 10/10 recommend this spot.

The meatballs and rigatoni were amazing! The pesto pasta was missing salt.

The carbonara was OK, pasta was perfect but not traditional carbonara. The egg on top was intended to be sunny side up, but well, it wasn’t at all. It just screwed it up the dish. The pancheta was nice, but the egg ruined it. The meatballs were the winner here. I also had a negroni, which was awful, I couldn’t finish it. I really wanted to give 4 stars, but that drink was the worst I have had in years.
