Handmade pastas in a modern Italian trattoria with communal tables & a bustling chef’s counter.

The baked ziti was solid. Almost homemade. The meatballs were good. Really enjoyed the Brussel Sprouts.
It’s not worth driving across town, but a great option if you are close by.

I had the Pork Belly Mac & Cheese and it was pure indulgence. The service was wonderful, and my request for extra-crispy pork belly was met beyond expectations—rich, golden, and irresistible. The homemade pasta was cooked to perfection, wrapped in a luxuriously light yet creamy sauce. Finished with pork belly lightly coated in BBQ sauce, it was flawlessly executed: crisp on the outside, juicy, tender, and melt-in-your-mouth inside. Comfort food at its finest.

I’ve eaten a lot of pasta. Like numerous months in Italy getting fat. Now I don’t expect Italy quality or even flavor but I do like my noodles to be al dente or even slightly over-cooked.
The carbonara was so very dense and chewy.
The egg hard fried.
Black truffle pasta tasted of water with cracked pepper on top.
The burrata was solid but for the price, i expect the bread it’s on not to taste burnt.
Counter order and self-bus, in a city where an appropriate minimum wage is in place (16.30) shouldn’t be trying to pressure people (or dupe out of towners) into 18/20/25% tips. Reprogram your pos system to a more appropriate tip structure 10/12/15 is quite generous for this service structure and price per dish. I shouldn’t need to do the math.
Girl working counter was solid, only reason for 2 stars and tip – but I realize I way over tipped at $10 and think others shouldn’t be getting shamed for not tipping / feeling anxious having to do the math in line.
Won’t be back because of the food, can’t recommend because above situation for cafeteria style counter serve.

Carbonara and squid ink spaghetti were served al dente, giving it a nice texture, and the sauce was flavorful. But it was slightly on the salty side, and those who prefer softer, more fully cooked pasta might have mixed feelings about it.

The pasta is made fresh. The atmosphere is relaxed and fun. The staff was amazing. I can’t wait to go back and try other things on the menu!

Rigatoni, carbonara and kids spaghetti with meatball. I wish I would have known you can add bread but you have to ask plus pay extra I guess, it was not offered but I see it in other reviews. The pasta was very tasty and had a nice bite to it kinda chewy. The sauces were quite bland in my opinion but everything seemed very fresh. The tipping structure on the tablet at the counter to pay is set way too high for them just walking the food a few feet over to the table. The lights were a bit dim and music a little too loud for it to be a nice atmosphere to me. The staff was very dry, not rude just not friendly or welcoming. It was fun to try but I probably wouldn’t pick it to go back tbh.

Absolutely loved this place when I tried it a few years ago and went back there on vacation now. The Italian food was fresh, flavorful, and well worth it. Ordering at the counter was quick and easy, and the food was brought right to the table. Chill, relaxed vibe and delicious dishes, I would go back.

I was looking for a place to have lunch after getting to downtown and stumbled on this place. I noticed they had pork belly mac and cheese on the menu and that was enough to get me to eat here. I ordered immediately as there was no line and sat down at a booth. Despite there being other tables, I got my food pretty fast, in about 10 minutes.
Honestly, was expecting a bigger portion for 18$ but was still delighted with the mac and cheese. It was really good mixed in with the pork belly and I enjoyed every bite of it. Also, I liked their self-serve water station. I did not have to wait for anyone to bring me water when I finished my cup, I could just go and refill it myself.

“A gourmet fresh pasta spot offering the joy of chewing on various pasta textures”
Food:
I ordered the Pork Belly Mac & Cheese and the Truffle Pappardelle. The total came out to about $32. I especially recommend the Mac & Cheese — the pork belly seasoning was incredibly flavorful, and the texture of the macaroni was excellent. The pappardelle was tasty as well, though the flavor was a bit on the mild side.
Service:
The staff were friendly, and the food came out very quickly. They also explained the menu well.
Ambiance:
The interior was clean and pleasant. To-go boxes were conveniently placed in one corner for self-service. The menu design was also quite nice.

Been meaning to stop in for a while to try their meatballs. Today was the day! I had the meatballs which were so flavorful and a Caesar salad with no croutons, which has lil slices of anchovy on top for the perfect salty touch. (Those can be optional). Perfect spot for a quick comforting lunch while you’re out shopping around. ✨
