I am not sure what happened here. When this diner first opened, it was amazing. The waiter (Henrique) would walk around with a smile on his face and ensured your dining experience was great. Now, the portions are smaller, I sit here with an empty cup (no coffee) the entire time, the food tastes different (guessing it is a change in either chefs or cooking grease), and I feel as if I am bothering people when I ask for anything. I hope this diner recovers. But, for now, it’s not that great. I would not recommend it.

Our server Enrique was wonderful and positively polite. The portion sizes were huge. My daughter ordered the chicken pot pie, and she wasn’t able to finish it.

Yes, they dont have jks hot dogs. But the food is good. Had pancakes, and they made them just right. The wife had some eggs and toast, and everything was very good. They kept alot of the old pictures from jks but they have added their own touch in side and its nice. The menu looks great. I look forward to trying lunch in dinner at grandpas diner.

Ordered the Cubano Sliders and a Chicken Bacon Ranch wrap to go…. So disappointed…, Not shredded pork but cubes of pork covered in bbq sauce. One chunk of pickle, 2 triangles of ham and what I’m assuming is Swiss cheese on slider buns that have freezer burn….. not put on the griddle like a Cubano should be. The CBR Wrap was tolerable, the fries were fries. They forgot the coleslaw…..I’m pretty sure we won’t go back.

We were told that this restaurant was wonderful and upon reading all of the reviews we had to try it out. The menu options were endless and as everyone has mention, Enrique was so wonderful. He was very attentive and thorough in recognizing our needs and allergies. The portions were enormous. I had a salad that provide me with 2 meals. I would highly recommend!

We are from Maine and we try different diners while being down here. It is very delicious food and cooked just the way we asked. Our server Sarah was very polite and severd our meals with a big smile.

Everything was very good, food was as ordered and expected. Servers were VERY attentive. Could tell they work hard to meet needs of diners. Small language barrier, but kindness and eagerness to please definitely outweighs that.
