I brought my family here 7/28 we ordered our food and waited like you should. i should have known when we sat down it would be a bad event due to how dirty the table and condiments were. They brought out skimp plates with stale fries and tater tots. And the taco shells were stale. When told about it the lady LOU ANN admitted to the shells being stale. Needless to say neither of us ate more than 2 bites of our food before realizing it was bad. LOU ANN so graciously gave us a whole 5$ off the bill. Do not recommend.

Hubby & I snuck down to Lake Anna Hideaway for lunch wanting to try something new – so happy we did! We live within a few miles, but haven’t visited since they opened. We started with the blackened tuna bites (AMAZING) & I went the bacon cheeseburger route while my husband stayed seafood and ordered fish tacos. Everything was delicious and I was really blown away by the fries. The pricing was fair, the staff was friendly, and the restaurant was clean. We left stuffed & excited to come back another day. =)

Do NOT waste your money here. Our server was rude, not attentive, and unhelpful. I got the jerk chicken “tenders” and they were salad size bites of chicken thrown on top of a bed of yesterdays french fries. My fiancé got the jerk chicken tacos and the shells were extremely stale. We both took two bites of our meals and neither of us could even eat it. We got our waitresses attention and she grabbed the manager lady. The manager was the most condescending, rude, and disrespectful manager I have ever come across. She blantly admitted to serving stale taco shells. She said and I quote, “we just sent someone to the store and this was all we had.”. Do not go here. Oh and PS, our bill was still $37. What a disgrace of a restaurant.

The shrimp in the shrimp basket were huge and cooked perfectly. The jerk chicken tacos were amazing and the sauce they give has true authentic Caribbean flavor! Good amount of sweet to balance a good flavorful heat. Was hoping this lil place was good and it truly lived up to my hopes. I’ll be back again that’s for sure! Staff was really nice and friendly. Take cash to save the credit card fee.

Lovely little surprise. If you live in the area, you know that there are only a few great restaurants nearby. This is one of them. It’s not fine dining but a long shot, but it’s got a cute vibe and great food. The jerk chicken tacos and plantains are especially good. The tater tots are everything.

Good place for a quiet Sunday evening. We were seated & had our drinks ordered, the gentleman came out of the kitchen, probably to cool off it was a warm afternoon. We chatted for a bit & he was an absolute pleasure to talk with. We asked him what was good that eve, he told us and ordered his reccy. Clam strips. Surprisingly were great, not fried hard rubber bands, tender & tasty! The coleslaw was so different & yummy; no mayo in sight, just nicely spiced.

Visited on a Saturday around 12. My husband and I are lake lifers and just got the chance to try it . Good was mediocre. We got crab balls, steamed shrimp, and wings. It was all eh. The shrimp wasn’t deveined and that’s always a problem for us. Like I said, mediocre. What REALLY got us was how dirty it was. The floor looks like it’s had a many rough days. I’m sure the night crew is supposed to sweep and mop the night before close but it honestly looks like it hasn’t been done in a while. The booth seats were crusty and had tons of crumbs and debris in the crumb catcher. Which comes out with an easy swipe with a rag. It’ll be our last time. We think cleaniness should be in top of the list in the restaurant industry and here it wasn’t. I can’t imagine what the kitchen looked like. Sorry, not sorry.
