Super lowkey place with a high end vibe and reasonable prices. Food presentation was on point, and our server was awesome and really friendly. She was super patient with all of our questions as well. I think offering mixed drinks would definitely heighten the experience, but I understand how it would complicate their staffing since they’re just a small business, where mixing drinks would just be an added responsibility for the servers.

I went here twice & tried different dishes, all were really good! I had the ribeye steak gozen during one visit & sukiyaki beef gozen on my second visit. All the sides that came with it were really good & compliments the main dish. I also had a bite of the pork loin cutlet curry that my sister ordered & im not big on curry at all, but this tastes like the curry i had in Japan so i recommend!

I would say given how high the other Google Reviews were, Gozen Shun was quite a bit of a disappointment. Don’t get me wrong, the interior was crisp and modern with a modern barn feel with a Japanese twist. Food was decent but more importantly visually well decorated. And… I guess that’s where good things end.
