A soaring experience that left me happy and delighted. The star of the show: the food. With a focus on, you guessed it, chicken, I opted to get the chicken tenders with japanese cheddar biscuit & pickles, and the chicken gyoza. Oh my feathers, everything surpassed what I expected and then some. The tenders boasted a golden coating encasing tender, juicy chicken and the accompanying japanese cheddar biscuit was a biscuit masterpiece that added an extra layer of savory goodness to the already tasty dish. The chicken dumplings where the right mix of a seared exterior and a juicy, flavorful filling. It is all made to order so the ingredients are fresh, and the dishes are served warm. Gather your flock and fly on over to this spot for a fried chicken experience you won’t soon forget.

I’m a big fan of Go Go Bird’s chicken sandwich. It’s the best one I’ve had in LA. They make everything fresh and tasty at the newly refreshed Citizen Public Market in Culver City. The chicken has a crunchy japanese-style batter that makes it different from other places. The fries are also amazing, especially the Japanese Poutine Fries with cheese and curry!

Jidori fried chicken spot in the back of Citizen Public Market. Came here with a couple of friends on a Friday evening and snagged an indoor table. Metered street parking or public garage parking available. The online ordering system showed all the items as unavailable, so we ended up just going to the counter to place our order. Credit cards accepted. You’re given a number on a receipt to claim your food. It took about 20 minutes for the food to be ready. I got the wings, which came in three and had a small biscuit and small cup of sliced cucumbers on the side. We also tried the poutine.

Went to try the chicken, it had some good reviews but changed my mind while watching other orders come out. It looked to well done for me, almost burnt looking, I did try the biscuits and they were definately good. The place is really crowded and little seating. Service wasn’t impressive but wasn’t the worst either. Atmosphere was cool has alot of potential. The fries were very good too.

Good idea, needs a bit of tuning. They need to break up the heavy foods with a bit more veg or light items. Also prices are a bit too expensive for what you get. Someone else commented that food was overly salted but we did not have this issue on our visit. It is in a food hall so it’s a great spot for everyone to get something different and hang out to eat. I can’t say I would go back, it’s just so so.

This place has promise but the food was a bit too salty and overseasoned for my taste. The chicken was fried well but the breading was a little thick and chicken slightly dry. Fries were definitely too salty and couldn’t finish them, which is a rarity for me. Some extra veggies would help balance the food out better.

Sandwich was seasoned well and cooked to perfection with a nice crispy breading and a juicy inside. Service was reasonably fast and prices are about what you’d expect in Culver. Has cafeteria style seating which is not my choice when it gets crowded but is great otherwise.

They don’t have hardly have anything on the menu. They open later than they post the time they open, and their customer service is sub par. The price of the food is outrageous but I could tolerate that if it operated like normal restaurants manage to do open on time have what’s on the menu and have decent customer service. The dumplings were okay nothing to right home about. The chicken was done well. The fries were good. All in all I think if they fixed basic issues it could work
