Without fail, this restaurant always delivers. The service is always on par, the atmosphere and interactions from the staff host a warm and welcoming environment.
In regards to the taste, delicious, clean, and vibrant. The food runs out during buffet hours and it is always replaced with another platter of warm, comforting food. This place is delicious and always a pleasure coming for a meal.
The staff is very witty and fun when interacting, also willing to explain dishes!
You will not feel like you’re missing out on anything with the lunch buffet if you don’t eat meat – more than half of the dishes are meat-free. Today there was: veggie pakora (with tamarind and mint chutney available for dipping), chickpeas/chana, a paneer dish, a veggie kofta dish, fried bread called bhatura, cooked mixed veggies in a yummy sauce, as well as a salad and two dessert options: jalebi and halwa. You also get fresh naan brought to your table!
I have been here with a relative who has celiac, and he loved that they have a dedicated gluten-free fryer, and gluten-free options clearly marked on the menu. The jalapeno fritters (battered with chickpea flour) were a particular favorite. I don’t think the buffet would be very celiac-friendly, but I believe you can order from the regular menu anytime.
The staff are SO kind and attentive. They always make sure everyone is well taken care of, and they are happy to answer any questions you might have. They can make recommendations for you if you aren’t sure what to order, and they never let your water glass go empty.
The restaurant itself is also very cute, cozy, welcoming, and decorated in a whimsical and inviting way.
The food is great, the staff are lovely, and the restaurant is cute. It’s inclusive for vegetarians, vegans (menu items are clearly marked), and for celiac folks.
Oh, and it’s affordable! Two people can enjoy the lunch buffet for less than $40 (with tax). What else could you ask for?
Edit: Updating to finally add a photo! Veg buffet options for Valentine’s Day weekend included heart-shaped aloo tikki, veggie pakoras, mint and tamarind chutneys, rice, dal makhani, cabbage and peas, aloo palak, naan, and carrot halwa for dessert. Excellent as always!!
They are also very kid friendly. They gave our toddler a complementary little mango smoothie and ice cream.
Our server was so sweet she even offered to hold our baby while we eat.
We definitely will be back.
Shoutout to our server, Vee!
