Woke up craving one of Gino’s Special pies! This place is so delicious every time! Haven’t had them since they catered a birthday party for us last fall. Our young guests gobbled up all the creative-topping pizza (taco, a bacon ranch number, some exotic cheese bread varieties) and all the vintage guests loved the classics! Would give zero if I could. I ordered a pizza about two months ago, got home the pizza was wrong. I called up there and they asked me to come back and get the right pizza. I said I live 15-20 mins away, just wanted to let you know someone else will get a wrong pizza as well. They said we apologize and next time you call we will replace that pizza for free. Awesome news… I call about a month later and they had no idea what I was talking about, said they couldnt honor that and would not replace the pizza. I said how would i know to call and say that if i wasnt told that, I wouldn’t lie about it I’m just asking you to replace the one pizza and even ordered more. It was hot, I had a bad day, it was late and the family was hungry so I said okay fine I will take my order but I know who not to order from again next time. The lady said that’s fine, like she didn’t need our business. Picked up my order and all was good. Well tonight my husband said Gino’s sounds good, I was hesitant but thought okay we can order from a local business just 1 bad experience, move on and past it…. so I call to find out my number had been blocked by their business. Seriously, I wasn’t rude or yell or scream and become biligerant. I guess I could understand if I was… best of luck with your business you may need it!

Not often do I find myself in the middle of Ida, Michigan. However, I was hungry and decided to stop by Gino’s for pizza. As a NY’er, my expectations were high, however, they were met! These guys ROCK. Who knew you could get some great tasting, affordable pizza in the middle of no where?!

Breakfast review- Today was the second time I’ve gotten a latte and it is just as delicious as the first one. I got a hazelnut latte and it’s not too sweet, piping hot, and the service is fantastic. Still planning on trying their pizza at some point, which is harder to do when you don’t eat a lot of carbs haha I did try the French toast sticks last time I was in and those were very tasty. Definitely give this place a try anytime of day

I used to enjoy this place but after three bad orders in a row I am done calling. Got a turkey sub for $8 tonight. Listed as two “layers” of Turkey but showed up with literally two slices of extremely thin sliced turkey. Only tasted like bread. At this point it’s just a waste of $35-$40 every time I call.
