Update(11/25/22): I ordered a Chicken 65 T Nagar Star Biryani for pick up today, specifically mentioned to make it spicy. Not only it was not spicy, it had absolutely no taste whatsoever. Completely tasteless, no salt as well. Chicken 65 had its usual taste, but it felt like I was eating white rice.

When I visited New Jersey I tried this place . To start with there are so many dishes in the menu which I wanted to try I have ordered the Apollo fish , Karandi egg and two other chicken dishes all tasted so good the spice level was perfect and the portion was good for the price . Most highlighted dish from the menu is their Thalappakattu Biryani it’s been years i never tasted exact authentic taste anywhere else . I will definitely recommend this place for their top notch Biryani . Customer service is excellent and friendly Narmata she took great care of us . Will definitely go back to this place to try the rest of the items from the menu .My Best wishes for this new restaurant to open up more branches . Keep rocking Guys

Will give 4⭐️ for taste of food , thank you for the great food , our waiter was very pleasant and treated us well . The decor was beaten up and out table was shaky which might be a minor issue but it kept rocking every time I went for a bite !! Though the foods runner wore gloves it seems to have been on for a long time. Silverware are plates had water spots. Hope these things will be taken care soon . Will def go back for the taste of food and do take out.

IFood was tasty other than that portion size is small and the mutton sukka was full of bone and skin. It was very hard to find edible meat in the dish. Will not be coming back. Will continue to patronize Biryani Pot across the street for better quality and portions

This place was previously the Godavari restaurant,the service here is pathetic, there’s only one person on the floor,who has to take care of the counter,take orders,serve drinks, seen guests getting up and taking their own drinks from the drinks cooler,ambience is no good ,tried the biryani”s, which were ok. Hope the service improves in future. Thalapakattu chicken biryani not as good as the last time,keeps changing everytime.

You say a word spicy in your order and restaurant will be like “Lets fill the whole thing with green chillies and make sure he never say that word again in his life. Lets make sure he wastes his money and cant taste anything more than one piece”. Order with precision. They have no respect for customer. The food is very good but the ambience is not that great and the management should be a little more proactive in notifying people if their order is delayed or cancelled. Please don’t give a timeline and be very casual about not having the order ready by then. 5min is understandable but given the parking situation in Jersey city don’t make people wait for 20-30min .

Ordered cut mirchi and andhra kaaram dosa. Indian vibe checked when served in a steel plate. Powder on the cut mirchi is good. And the mint chutney goes good with it. Sambhar is good and chutney could be better.
