The onion in my food was burnt and if through the entire entree flavor off. Kani salad is not what it use to be!!!!! It is so over sauced I couldn’t eat it. It just just crab, cucumber and too much sauce, that is it. What happened to the rest that made it so good, what happened to the price, you pay more for so much less.

I don’t know what happened to this place. I started going a year ago or so ago and it was good but recently I’ve had 2 awful experiences. My friend and I went and had lunch and ordered a beef lo mein and orange chicken and rice. Our food comes and the chicken and rice tastes like fish. We told the waiter and he took it off our bill. Well we tried it again a few days ago and this time was even worse. We ordered beef lo mein and combo singapore noodles. We received beef lo mein and a combo fried rice. Well that wasn’t what we ordered. The waiter takes back the fried rice and brings us the Singapore noodles. We notice the meat is really dark but don’t think too much of it. Well we start to eat it and realize that they picked out the veggies and meat that was in the combo fried rice and just re cooked it with the noodles. Needless to say we were extremely disappointed.
My friend went back again with some family and he told me that they messed up on almost everyone’s order. One person received a fishy tasting General Tso chicken. The General Tso tofu was not good. A spicy and not spicy dish was ordered and both came out spicy. And the owners had their kids in the restaurant and they were running around making a ruckus and bothering all the customers trying to eat.
I don’t know what has happened to this place but it’s such a shame because this place was the best Chinese in town. They are slowly digging their grave.

This was my first time trying Ginger Asian, I did carry out, & it was really really good! Pictured is the combination plate – shrimp & garlic sauce (I asked to remove the bamboo shoots, water chestnuts & bell peppers), it comes with the fried rice (you can up charge for different rice/lo mein) & an egg roll! The egg roll was one of the best I’ve had in a while, super crispy, not greasy at all, & the cabbage had great flavor. The next picture is Kani Salad, which was also very good! A little on the spicier side than others I’ve had. Overall, very very good food. The restaurant is very nice, clean, & the person who gave me my food was very friendly. I’ll definitely be ordering again!

A few years ago they were having some issues with the quality of their food. We decided to give them another try this year and this is some of the best Chinese food I have ever had! The kung pow chicken is AMAZING!

4 stars in Winchester standards, 2 stars in real life. Very low quality Chinese. You can taste the sink water in the soup. Hot and sour chicken is all breading any poorly fried. Szechuan chicken had not meat and was terrible.

I ordered the beef and broccoli. The broccoli was cooked well and the sauce was good, but the beef was very chewy!

We came inside last night 30 minutes before they close to order a decently large order for take out. The guy behind the counter was so nice and read our order back to us, we went to pay with a card and he said if I pay with cash he gives 5% off and a free soda and I didn’t have cash but noted it for next time! We are just passing through here so I don’t know if we will ever be back in this area again but if we are, we’ll come back. We ordered a few different meals and every Chinese restaurant I feel like is different in how they prepare and serve things. This restaurant gave an entire container of the main dish and then an entire small container of rice for each main dish! Normally (at our local Chinese restaurants) we get the rice and the main dish inside 1 container, so when we opened everything we were shocked at how much food there was haha! It’s like you can feed 2 people with 1 order so that’s very good for the price!! Their shrimp egg rolls and crab Rangoon were very delicious. Our shrimp and chicken dishes had a good amount of meat too. I will say my mom and sister mentioned the sauce was thicker than we’re used to (again, all Chinese restaurants are a little different) and they were indifferent to it, but I actually prefer this restaurant’s thicker sauce than our regular restaurant’s. One thing I will note is that they didn’t give us any sweet and sour sauce and I don’t know if I was supposed to order that on the side but when we get our crab Rangoon we’ve just been used to getting the sweet and sour sauce included but it’s possibly my error for not ordering it, so maybe if you NEED the sauce be sure to ask for it. When the order was done (very fast, probably 10 minutes for a large order) they even packaged everything inside of a box with a plastic bag around it and I thought that was so nice, much better idea to use a sturdy box than a big paper bag which gets all oily and can rip easily. I just thought it’s a nice thing to do so I wanted to mention it here. This was a great experience and I wanted to share my positive experience here because we live several states away and are just going to visit DC so I just don’t think we’ll be able to come back, but wanted to thank the kind employees for their attention to detail and their kind demeanor. ❤️

Probably the worst chinese i’ve ever had. This should not even be considered chinese food. The “fried rice” is plain rice that is yellow. No vegetables, nothing except rice. My shrimp literally tasted like dirty sea water. My fiance’s beef was 100% fat trim only.
On top of everything, the delivery driver couldn’t even find our house. We gave her instructions, sent her screenshots and my fiance ended up having to meet her somewhere in the middle. Tipped her $10 when we ordered on the phone for convenience and there was no convenience at all.
I mean, please look at the “fried rice” attached to this review….
We spent $60. I would have rather heated up some pizza rolls for dinner or starved.
(We ordered delivery 2 kung paos, sweet&sour chicken, and low mein dinner meals)
Will NEVER eat from this place again.

Service was friendly and timely. Disappointed however in some of the food items. Ordered chefs special of crispy chicken and at least 1/2 of the dish was onion, and large chunks of onion at that. Filling in crab Rangoon’s was tasty but difficult to find within the wonton.
