Best Vegan Breakfast in Dayton. If I’m out and about in the morning I always swing by ghost light or get a coffee and a bite to eat. They have a constant roaring dessert menu with some returning favorites to include their ghost tarts and various muffins. Most if not all of the desserts are vegan. Aside from this they have an awesome selection of vegan breakfast sandwiches. This is the Vegan Monty and it was delicious.

Absolutely loved coming here for lunch. The food was delicious and the baristas were patient as I asked questions about the menu. They seemed proud of their selections and gave fantastic recommendations, especially with my dietary restrictions. You could tell they care about their craft. I will absolutely be returning!

Exceptional coffee (one of the best so far around Dayton). The ambience was very good. I got the cappuccino and Gibraltar (which is a Cortado). Both were very good. I would highly recommend to go if you love coffee. They also had breakfast and pastry items. Be mindful there might be a queue to place an order. Overall a great place for coffee. I would definitely go again. There is additional parking to the west of the store.

Overall decent experience. I went right after the morning rush, so I can forgive my table being a bit dirty. I was actually served the wrong drink, but it was delicious so I just rolled with it. The muffin I got was great, too. They have lots of little subdivided areas, so it’s a great coffee shop from which to work. Parking looked to be a bit tight but I did get a space the day I went.

I hate writing this review. We moved to the area two years ago and have been supporting as often as we can since then. We have run into problems nearly every time but are understanding and the staff are very polite and try to make it right for us. Today I waited for over 45 minutes for my pick up order to be sat alongside the other pick up orders in the designated area. I watched two other pick up orders be placed on the bench and picked up. 35 minutes after my estimated pick up time, I got in line to ask. My order was left behind the counter the entire time and not placed with the other pick up orders.

Great place. Best coffee in Dayton. Inventive coffee (love the bee sting) cool vibe and baristas that care about their craft. Had an especially great experience with the Manager David who not only made a new favorite (sugar free mocha – it has real cocoa powder!) he also provided a great combination of kindness and service. I needed it that day especially and he had no idea. Thanks David and Ghostlight. Keep inventing!
