What a fun restaurant! Food is delivered to your table via high speed bullet train replicas. The servers give you a QR receipt to scan when you are seated, and your order of the menu that pops up on your phone. The QR code is specific to your table, so the train knows where to stop. The sushi is fresh and delicious. There are also poke bowls, tempura, and other typical dishes. I enjoyed the volcano roll and the spicy tuna and ahi poke bowl. The food was great and the quirky service trains make this a great choice for a date or a family.

Nicer than it used to be. They’ve updated the decor and have an iPad ordering system. Their new employee, who goes by the name of Eric, is pretty friendly, chatty and helpful. I would come back because of his service. Bento was good value, although the karaage looked thoroughly overcooked.

We love the food here, and our kids love the little train that speeds the sushi to your table. It’s so fun. And really, the food is surprising good for a little strip mall sushi spot. The format is an app order from your phone, so there isn’t much in the way of service and the atmosphere is kind of cafeteria style, so I didn’t give 5 stars for either of those but it’s not a bad atmosphere and the service is just fine- you get water to your table and the rest is done from your phone. Overall, it’s a fun spot to eat with your kids if you’re in that part of the island.

This is a fun sushi restaurant with a special twist on the service. The menu is scanned onto your phone from a QR code receipt handed to you when you sit down at your table. You order from the menu and your food is brought to you by train. The trains look like the high-speed trains in Japan and run along next to your table. The QR code tells the train which table ordered the food, and it stops at your table and waits for you to send it back after you have taken your food. The miso soup is brought by the server to avoid messy spills. The sushi is fresh and tender. There are also poke bowls and fried food as well. I really enjoyed my meal, especially the volcano roll and spicy ribs and poke bowl.

Amazing service, my family and I went around 230 and was sat immediately. Some of the food took longer to come out than the Hilo one, but this Kona one is bigger than the Hilo side one. The hot dog that we unfortunately didnt get a photo of was cold or very little warm but tasted great. After we were done we got dessert, the ice cream was delicious! definitely something to get if they arent sold out. Our meal for three (includes the tip) was about $81.

It’s a fun destination for casual lunches or dinners with friends and family. The best part is that you can dine at your own pace. Simply order something, eat it, and then order a few more items until you are full. If you’re not familiar with this type of restaurant, you pay per plate, and each plate has a different color that corresponds to a particular price. So, you can order as much or as little as you want. Although the service can be a bit slow due to understaffing, the servers are friendly, and the food is delicious. I would recommend not being in a rush.

Overall, the quality and the taste of food isn’t good regardless to say about the service. While there were a bunch of hall staffs, they weren’t interested in helping us with the seating. We ended up getting a HAIRY SUSHI ROLL.

Waited 20 minutes to get seated. Then ordered on our phones and waited 30 minutes for 6 sushi rolls. The sodas and 2 of the 6 rolls we ordered never came. Had to grab our own utensils and ask for wasabi. The server never came and checked in on us. I’ve been coming here since before they got remodeled and the place has gone majorly downhill. Very disappointing, will not be coming again.

An interesting concept, it’s nice that you can just order from a screen and have it delivered to your table with a little train.

Service is always TERRIBLE, which is ironic considering how little service is required. If it wasn’t for the unique delivery system that the kids are fascinated by, we would not eat here.
