Little shop but modern and cozy. Food quality is outstanding and ratio price/quality vs the portion amazing. I would totally come back. I got some appetizer and the ribs but the tablee around me ordering noodles make me want more for the next time.

Yumm. Stopped in here after the beach on a weekday. Restaurant was empty at 6 pm but filled up quickly. You can scan and order via the QR code or you can ask for a menu. Waitstaff was friendly and attentive. They answered our questions and filled our waters often. We ordered the beef brisket look fun soup and a free gyoza (when you check in on yelp). Gyoza was fried, filling wasn’t that flavorful but the sweet chili dipping sauce paired well with it. The spicy beef soup was flavorful. Doesn’t have a lot of depth but more of a light broth. It is not very spicy, so add more chili oil if you like a bit of a kick!

FUNtastic experienced! Staff were superb! They were all very polite, respectful, friendly, and super helpful with our orders specially being a first timer on their restaurant, never felt the presence of being pressured and being rushed to take our orders. Unlike any other restaurant we’ve tried, i can say this is our 2nd restaurant that we’ve experienced in honolulu that staff were actually understanding and polite. We will definitely be returning to try out their different menus and also because of their wonderful customer service. Thank you so much!

I live in a major metro area with some of the best Chinese noodle soup in North America, and the food here can compete with the best of them. I ordered the beef brisket noodle soup with thin rice noodle and it was amazing. The broth was rich but not overly salty, and the brisket was perfectly cooked with equal ratio of lean meat and tendon. The other dish ordered was soy marinated duck noodle soup which is hard to find on CONUS. It too was excellent with a very generous portion of duck for the price. IMO this is the best noodle soup place around the Waikiki area.

Had the flying noodles, Crispy pork ribs in bucket, and two other dishes. Food was tasty. Service was great. Staff was super nice. The presentation of the flying noodles was fun to watch(no pun intended by the name of the restaurant). Servings were good size except for the flying noodles. But that one was more about the presentation.

Presentation 10/10. Service 10/10. Food is only okay. Order salt and pepper spare ribs and it’s extremely tough. The crispy spare rib rice bucket is much larger than I thought. Lots of food. But it’s the same batch of ribs that tasted just as old as the last. The flying noodles are the highlight of the meal. The sauce is decent and the presentation is simply excellent.

If I could give a more detailed post, I’d give 5 stars to the service. The owner and his staff were very polite and hospitable. They were interested in making you feel comfortable. I really appreciate that. The food isn’t bad. My family ordered a few dishes and they were decent. I liked the intestine. It was soft and tasty. The flying noodles were good for picture taking. I liked the thoughtful presentation. The sweet and sour spareribs were very good, especially with some potatoes in there. I was a little disappointed with the duck bucket rice. The duck was not served in the bucket, but as a separate dish. The duck in itself was good, but if it was cooked on the rice. The oil from the duck would have dropped into the rice to make it better. Now it’s just like ordering the duck and the rice separately. There’s improvement in the food, but I would still recommend it to anyone who likes Chinese food.

Staff so nice and the taste was super fresh and really delicious. Felt like being in Hong Kong…. It was like the noodles in the Korean dramas or Jyajyamen(?) = a miso pork with cucumber and black beans and you mix it into the thin noodles? …I think we can ask to change the noodles types like rice noodle (gluten free), egg noodle or thicker flying noodle type…the milk tea and lemon tea was good too! I love this place❤️

We had the flying noddles, deep fried gyozas and curry fish balls. The fish balls are really authentic straight from Hong Kong. The gyozas are nicely deep fried and golden. We had the signature noodle and vegetarian noodle. The signature one is ground pork with chilli sauce, it’s a bit too spicy for my wife. My veggie is soy sauce based with ample broccoli and lettuce. The flying noodle, aside from being a gimmick, kept the chow fun from getting stuck together so the texture of the noodle is quite soft but not soggy, very well done. Should definitely give this place a chance!
