Excellent food and ice cream can be had at Friendly’s, but the atmosphere in the dining room doesn’t quite live up to the name. When I visited, I stood by the server’s podium for a few minutes until one of the waitresses wandered over and asked, with a confused look on her face, if I was waiting to be seated. I said that I did, and she gave me a booth in a dining room that was kind of quiet and dull. They were clearly having a slow day because an entire section was closed with chairs up on the tables and the lights turned off. My waitress was friendly enough and she took care of me, but it was just kind of a depressing place to have lunch. As I said, however, the food is great. Next time I’ll probably get take out or sit on their patio. I definitely want to try some of those crazy sundaes!

Got scammed $18 hardcore. Ordered 2 large vanilla shakes & one large sundae on the phone for a pick up. I didn’t bother checking sadly but as soon as I came home , I was disappointed. If I checked , I would’ve came back there asking them what exactly is that they gave me. They made a large vanilla shake and split it between the two cups … like?? It didn’t even taste like a vanilla milkshake either. My mother ordered a large sundae and they gave us a whole medium sundae with a large cup as if we didn’t notice. Worst Friendlys I’ve ever went to and don’t even bother ordering for a pick up, they will literally give you small portions and call that Bon appétit

A lot of people order to go at the time I was there so it slowed down the order of food. The manager let us know but they were occupied with a problem with a big family checking out. They got my brother’s food wrong and I could hear them taking about it from the kitchen. He even pointed it out which one on the menu. I wouldn’t recommend this place. I have had way better service and food at other places. I won’t be stopping here or recommending it at all. But that’s my opinion. I don’t know if she was new to her job.

Service was painfully slow as was getting our food (waited over 30 minutes). Had the turkey super melt which literally had 1 piece of meat and 1 piece of cheese. Paid over $30 for lunch for 2 adults and a 3 year old and left still hungry. Save yourself the headache and disappointment and go to the Tannersville location.

Friendly but incredibly slow service here. Two customers ordered a Fribble and the waiter returned 15 minutes later to announce that they RAN OUT OF MILK (at 1 o’clock in the afternoon)!! Wow, I never thought I would experience that at a restaurant known for their ice cream dessert options! There is plenty of seating inside and a large parking lot.

This Friendly’s I visited can’t be considered all that friendly. I walked in and was greeted with a wave of warm air, much warmer than outside., and an apology for the broken A/C system – the repair crew won’t be there until Monday (today is Saturday)

Very uncomfortable climate for both guests and employees. Workers said they were understaffed, the whole experience just seemed sad and uncomfortable. Very disappointed in my ice cream, “monster mash” who came out looking like a dead mouse, instead of what was advertised.

0 stars, first time at this Friendly’s, was seated quick and had warm drinks delivered about 10 minutes later, ordered food and 45 minutes later nothing, waitress stopped once to ask if we wanted a desert menu while we waited, but offered nothing about the delay in food. We walked out and went to Wendy’s. Not the Friday night dinner I wanted. But at least I got my food.

A 1-rating is very generous. There were 3 tables of people in the whole place, and it still took them 45 mins to bring our food out. Part of the order was wrong, and they didn’t bring out one order because they forgot about it. Never got napkins or silverware. The people there truly didn’t care about any of the customers. Even when we tried to pay, nobody would come to the register. It would be best for the brand / company if this one closed down.
