The food is absolutely delicious and authentic. The portions are fantastic for the pricing. They give you a ton to work with and every bite is phenomenal. I have been a few times now and have enjoyed every visit. The restaurant itself is nice. Very welcoming and filled with beautiful artwork. The staff is also nice, accommodating and fun. Definitely recommend for a night out.

Queso is cheese whiz with peppers. Chips are stale. Sope carnitas, pork dried out, not much flavor. Chicken Chimichanga was full of rice and not much else. Enchiladas were so so, beans lacked flavor but not horrible. Clean. Music too loud and too cold. Don’t think it’s going to last, empty and don’t think I will return.

Since the pandemic, I think a lot of restaurants have struggled to keep consistent, good quality dishes as a baseline and it makes me hesitate to try places when I can typically cook at home. Frida’s opened close to where I live not too long ago, and we decided to give it a go. Gotta say, they do not disappoint — the food is good quality, they have a lot of dishes to select from, and the salsas are like sooo good especially the salsa verde/green sauce.

Had a great lunch with an old friend. Had a chance to catch up and enjoy the large portioned meal that they provided. Server was friendly and patient with us and gave us time to talk after we finish. Never felt rushed, and the prices were great!

The first time I ordered takeout and got the street corn. I had one bite and threw it in the trash. It tasted like canned corn and cojita cheese. I’ve made better at home using my instant pot! fresh corn on the cob from a local farm, normally you’d want to char it, but I steamed it and sautéed it, mixed in a mixture of mayo, sour cream and cojita, s&p, paprika, tons of cilantro and lime. Not to brag but I’d expect better ordering from a Mexican restaurant. Not sure those commenting know what authentic means but my first impression was not it. The Mexican street corn was SORELY lacking. Go for the chicken empanadas, they redeemed themselves there. Staff is amazing.

Coming from Texas we weren’t sure what to expect of Tex-Mex in Pennsylvania. Boy, were we surprised. We loved the enchiladas, nachos and burrito bowl. The highlight of the menu was the chipotle sauce. It just doesn’t get any better than that. If we ever drive through King of Prussia again, we will be sure to stop at Frida’s.

Service was friendly, food came out pretty quickly. Starter guac and chips was good, as were my enchiladas with tomatillo sauce. My friend also enjoyed his food.

Can’t remember what I ordered, but I SPECIFICALLY remember the cashier asking if I wanted onions and cilantro with my entree. Thought it was weird considering, MOST Mexican entrees traditionally come with it. I said yes, then Noticed I was charged an extra 29 cent. So heads up, onions and cilantro are an UPSALE! I also ordered chips and guacamole! Halfway through the bag, I discovered a black hair Ugh! Stomach turning! It should be a LAW, all culinary staff should wear hair nets Also, Guacamole had noooooo flavor! Taste like regular avocado! Maybe I’m just used to the quality of El Limon’s food (what I will stick to). I’ll never go back!
