We tried this place because we were craving Mexican food and we happened to be right next door at the laundromat so it was perfect. We got a great sense of authenticity when we heard one of the employees speak spanish. Authenticity is super important to me in Mexican restaurants, I do not do the “americanized” mexican places. So it was a breath of fresh air to feel the environment. Everything was good that we ordered, amazing even. The rice definitely felt like it was a couple of days old unfortunately or maybe it wasn’t put away accordingly to maintain its freshness. I definitely felt the service could have been a little better. Service is SUPER important to me and we love a server who has great energy and isnt just going off of the basic script of “what would you like,” “how’s it going,” “enjoy your food.” It’s important for servers to genuinely care about their customers and even willing to go above and beyond sometimes. I’m sure some days can be longer than others but that’s why it’s important to try your best to be positive. Nonetheless, we loved the place and the food!

Birria tacos were 10/10. Simple place with amazing food a nice employees. Food was definitely tastier than big franchises like plaza azteca. It will now be our go to spot for mexican food.

Absolutely amazing! The service was incredibly fast, and the food was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The birria tacos were out of this world—tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. Absolutely delicious! Definitely recommend coming here. My husband and I had the burrito dishes. I absolutely loved the food. Very well executed! The sauces were definitely homemade and very good!

Awesome food!! Went here for lunch and then for taco Tuesday and they have the best tacos, quesadillas and Mexican food around KOP, hands down. Really nice dining room and deserves a line out the door for how good the tacos are for the price on Tuesday. Everything we’ve tried is killer, highly recommended.

My sis and I come here maybe every other week, and every time it’s an absolute treat. Whenever I try to give a different Mexican place a chance, I only think about how I could’ve just gone to Frieda’s instead.
I strongly recommend their chips and the green sauce that they put on the table. Also their tacos, especially the carnitas and beef tongue. And my sister would probably recommend their flautas, considering she’s ordered them every time we’ve gone for at least the past year.
