Worst experience ever!

I ordered three bowls at the Shoreline location today around noon.
While eating one of the bowls, I bit into a large metal staple and had to spit it out.
I have photos of the metal object and the receipt.
This is a serious food safety issue and could have caused injury.

Chipotle (especially this location) is usually different every time I visit. Sometimes the staff are on it, but other times it seems understaffed. The last time I was there, no one was working the start of the line for a bit with the line forming. The meat is usually “meh”. Either it’s too dry and/or too chewy (especially steak). The meat actually looked ok my last visit. I picked carne asada for my burrito bowl to try something new and limited. It was surprisingly soft and not chewy.

The lettuce is another iffy part of going to Chipotle. I usually see some bad pieces, so I try to get less lettuce. It bothers me that the workers always pile up everything in the same spot of the bowl after the rice and beans. I’ve tried telling them to put things in different spots, but I think they’re confused. They used to charge me extra for getting salsas in separate containers, but it seems like they’ve stopped doing that now?

Ordered takeout and received the bag open with our burrito obviously eaten out of. When we tried to get a refund the staff refused and said it was monitored by camera. Absolute disgrace of employees must work here.If they blatantly eat out of to go orders.I wonder what else goes on around in the back. Steer clear of this dump would rate 0 stars if possible.

Went in at 10:00pm and they closed at 11pm but had absolutely no salsas left for the night. no medium or red hot salsa at all, when i asked if they had an extra that they would use because i get a veggie bowl and the whole flavor of the bowl is the salsa they told me that they were done for the night. I think it’s crazy that they don’t let u know that before u starting making ur bowl and why are they open till 11 if they aren’t even functioning, the workers had everything packed up like they were going to leave that minute itself, felt like they were annoyed that a customer came into the store. Honestly this experience ruined chipotle for me 🙁

First time at this location and I have to say it’s the best one I have visited in a long time. They are fair, the food is somehow cooked better than other Chipotle’s? Tastes fresher. They’re quick and friendly enough. But most importantly they’re efficient and clean here. I recommend it.

Genuinely an amazing place. I have been here probably around 10+ times now and it has not disappointed once. Staff is nice and I have never had a negative experience with them. The portions are generous and they gladly give you more/extra if you ask (excluding all paid ingredients of course). The atmosphere is nice with music playing in the background and it’s nice and quiet. My personal favorite spot to sit is near the window on the cylinder like seats. My personal favorite order is: A bowl, half chicken, half honey chicken, extra white rice, extra black beans, extra cheese, lettuce, salsa of your choice, the vinaigrette sauce, and a tortilla on the side if you’re really craving it.

The worst Chipotle I’ve ever been to.

– I have had pieces of plastic in my food.
– The food is consistently worse than other Chipotles. Chips are stale. Chicken has gristle. Guacamole is brown.
– Food is ready at the quoted time maybe 2 of 3 times.

I’m really disappointed with the service I received today at Chipotle. The server acted like she didn’t want to be there at all. She barely put any food in my bowl — everything was such a small amount that I had to ask her to add more. Instead of fixing it, she just said, “Do you need a double portion?” with an attitude. That’s not how customers should be treated. I come to Chipotle because I like the food, but this kind of service makes you not want to come back. Please train your staff to be friendlier and to actually give fair portions for what people pay for.

Unprofessional and disrespectful staff.

We have never had a great experience at this Shoreline location, but today was the last straw. My fiancé and I used the drive-through to pick up a mobile order. When we arrived at the window, the employee just stared at us.

When we provided the pickup name, there was some slight confusion because the name is spelled with an “I” instead of a “Y,” but rather than being professional, the employee butchered the name and then turned to her coworker to make fun of the spelling in Spanish right in front of us.

It is absolutely ridiculous that the store culture here allows employees to openly mock customers to their faces. We won’t be returning to this location—or any Chipotle—for a long time. If you’re looking for basic respect with your meal, go elsewhere.

And as a customer we shouldn’t have to reach back out to a customer service link and retype this information in, talk about not caring about your customers or potential customers.

As a business owner, cutting the food serving size then still paying for the normal said price is a bad management move. I would much rather pay an extra $1 than lose out on food. Bought a bowl, and I’ve never seen a serving size so small for a bowl before.. Do better. I’ll drive extra to another location if I see this occur again..
