Great place. Food was excellent. Visited on an off day (Thursday) ama it was worth the 3hr trip, and quite an enjoyable ride. Service was fine, nothing remarkable. But that fried chicken and corn bread, outstanding!

My boyfriend and I came to visit Windham and found this place on a whim and absolutely LOVED it. The food was delicious (we recommend the prime cut cowboy steak with Mac n cheese) and the service was amazing. Alanna was a wonderful server and Skylar is a fabulous hostess. We will definitely come back in the future ◡̈

I stopped at the restaurant at 12 noon on Thursday and sat at the bar. “I ordered the sausage/chicken gumbo which was really. good”. I Service and bartender was good too. I ordered 2 fried chicken dinners to go. Also extra soup to take home with cornbread too. The chicken was like eating Kentucky Fired, mash potatoes and gravy were not that great either. Chicken had more deep fry than meat. We did not like the Coleslaw either. The cornbread was good. Restaurant was clean and service was good. We will stop again and try the beef. Just not a big fan of the chicken, smashed potatoes, gravy and coleslaw. I ate lunch at the bar. And did take out for (2) dinners. The soup was very good. Nice restaurant and people, just not a big fan of fried chicken dinner. We will be back next time up in the Catskills. Bob / Kathy

A large of family group(13) made reservations and were seated inside in comfortable air conditioned setting. The drinks were served quickly and the food followed shortly after. The quality and food portions were excellent. The reason I rated only 4-stars was that the service left a little to be desired. A waitress by the name of Marie C was a little abrupt at times and appeared to be distracted. We’re not sure if she was overworked or just annoyed at the size of the group. What ever the reason for abrupt behavior, it does not excuse this kind of treatment. Marie seems to be annoyed about certain requests made of her about items that were requested. With a “4” rating we didn’t want to detract from the quality food and its portions. We do recommend dining at the Chicken Run – a fun place to dine.

Love it!!!! We were a large group and we opted for outdoor seating! Amazing food and fun servers! Very laid back and chill surroundings. You can spend hours and hours there or behind the restaurant, where there’s a small park and a brook/ stream? Recommend!

Their honey dipped fried chicken is absolutely incredible. Great food followed by an excellent selection of desserts. While there is not a whole lot in this area, this is one of the best restaurants around with a lot of great options. Hope to be back some day!

We had 2 chicken pot pies and a haddock dinner. 12 breaded wings and 2 beers.$ 85.00. Wings were good just a little small. Pot pie was good. Had a big pastry on top and about 1/2 to 3/4 cup of filling. Fish was overcooked and crunchy as were the fries that seemed to have been cooked then dropped in grease again. Fries aren’t supposed to be crunchy like potato chips.

First time here. We needed a table for 9 with no reservations. Lucky someone just cancelled and we were seated right away. Kids ordered from their own menu. My wife enjoyed her cheeseburger and I shared the huge cowboy ribeye for two, cooked medium rare. It was a friends birthday and they brought out her dessert with a huge sparkler. Kids all had ice cream. There was live music in the next room and everyone looked like they were having a great night out.

My wife and I went to dinner on Thursday night I ordered the meatloaf dinner which I had before and it is good. But on Thursday night, it was not good , got home And a couple of hours later started to throw up. And all I had for lunch was a Turkey Sandwich with mustard. In which my wife had the same sandwich And she was fine. So it had to be the meatloaf dinner.

Great bar restaurant, I went to stop by just to grab a drink, and the food looked so good we ended up grabbing a number of appetizers, clams, ribs, pot stickers and everything was delishious! Big, family restaurant atmosphere ended up spending hours there just getting to hang out with the staff and got to know some friendly locals. Would come back here any time!
