The food tasted homemade with love! Had the beef stew and rice and really enjoyed it. Also loved the sweet plantains.

What happened to the quality, come on guys. Rice/pork dry & Alcapurria didn’t appear fresh. Kind of upset I spent almost $50 SMH.

Staffs are always nice, friendly and attentive. Customer service alone would be a 5 star for me BUT the food aren’t that good sorry to say. Foods are overrated. For the few times I’ve been here, I was served a cold, dry, bland as in no hint of salt, Pernil. Really disappointing. The fried chicken doesn’t look fresh at all. Chicken empanada is the only thing that was good. Full of tasty chicken meat.

There could be a wait at times , but the food is our soul food and you’ll love it. Still hold true today this is our soul food straight from Puerto Rico still have to wait but worth the time still the best . Excellent news Freddy and Tony’s are now open for dining. Get some chuleta congaro y habichuelas and pernil yummy And the waitress was super. Come on down and try Freddy and Tony’s, The GOAT OF RICAN FOOD HERE IN PHILADELPHIA still the GOAT . STILL THE GREATEST .

Great Puerto Rican take-out at affordable procong when dont feel like cooking. Also have seating area. Love their carne guisada. Wasnt crazy about the acapueria (oily & not well-seasoned) or pastelillos. (little meat, a lot of dough, could be better-seasoned). Street parking.

The food was amazing. I was in town with my best friend and decided to go. We sat down to eat and the waitresses were hospitable. The food tasted amazing. I would definitely return. It’s a small restaurant but seating was enough to not feel cramped with other patrons.

The food here is amazing! Pricing is reasonable, and you’ll definitely have left overs. This place does get busy, so try not to go during peak hours.

Theur food is always so delicious. I love their tostones. They’re fresh and hot out the fryer just the way I like them. The people in there are always so nice.

7/13/2023 over the years this place have gone downhill, I went there yesterday to order some food. 1. the pernil is super dry and not season well. 2 we order boil banana and they tasted like dish soap. 3 the prices of there food went up so high.4 I olmoust forgot, the morcillas are super soft like they did not fry them Long enough. Thy gave me boiled morcilla. I will stay away from this nasty place. P.s There alcapurias are nasty too.
