The food today was absolutely amazing. The catfish was super tasty and I had the ribs which were smoked to perfection. All and I mean all of the side dishes were great. It costs about $12 a plate out the door and I’m telling you there’s not a better all around tasting lunch anywhere than what I had today. I am overly impressed!

The food looked really good & tasted pretty darn good, too! I thought this was just a Catering Business. I had no idea it was a restaurant, too! I guess you could say that this was a hidden gem here in Cullman. We went on a Saturday. You can dine either inside or outside. I would probably prefer outside since my Husband said it smelled a bit like fish indoors. All in all, the food was delicious! My husband had Hamburger Steak & i had the Chicken.

Today was our first time visiting. Really great meat and 3 on Tuesday and Thursday. Lots of food options and plenty to share or have a plate for the next day. Outdoor seating was a plus. We plan on trying their Saturday night steak options in the future.

We very rarely go out to eat, but we decided to go somewhere last night. We had heard of this place for a couple years but had never been and thought we’d give it a try. I had the steer butt. I’ve never had a better steak at any restaurant ever in my life. It was seriously the best . It didn’t need steak sauce, and it was super tender (I got it med well). My daughter got the ribeye med rare and ate every bit of it. My wife got the chicken and gave it five stars. It’s very laid back as far as the atmosphere goes. Wasn’t crowded, but it should have been with food like that. The three of us ate for around $70 which is on par with places like Cracker Barrel etc (which is why we eat at home mostly). We don’t eat out much, but it’s a treat every once in a while, and my birthday is coming up and that’s where we will be going. I have that big honkin steer butt steak to look forward to!

Really great food. Shame it’s only open for walk-ins a couple days a week. The burgers and fries are outstanding. One day I’ll try the steak. They look fantastic.

Great food at a great price! Be sure to get a to go plate for leftovers for another meal because most people can’t finish it all.

His potato salad is delicious! The smoked chicken is also very juicy and has a good flavor.

The cost of 4 regular size plates and four drinks – to go was a whopping SIXTY DOLLARS !! I’d heard how good the food was but I was terribly disappointed in the quality, quantity and the taste. The dressing I ordered was runny as though it was a soupy stuffing and actually did taste similar to Stove Top Stuffing. I ordered pork chops on the other three plates, of which there was one and it was the cheapest cut likely sold. I normally would not leave such a review for a hometown business -especially but the cost should have offered quality.

Not up to the hype. Giving credit where credit is due, I will say that the frog legs and slaw were very good, but the canned and boxed side dishes were not even disguised as being such.
