A very disappointing mediocre meal at best after a very long wait. Growing up with a Chinese best friend since preschool, I became very familiar with traditional Chinese food. And singed up this place was located in the heart of Chinatown with high ratings. I thought I’d give it a shot. However I was very disappointed. The quality of meat was barely edible and the sauce was lackluster. I followed the top review where Mr. Bahama suggested to try the orange chicken. Worst mistake I’ve made of 2023. See for yourself in the images I’ve attached.

Food was OK, the soup is a bit salty, the portions a bit small, the sweet and sour pork was dried and not sour and not sweet enough. However it’s pretty much as good as you get in Chinatown these days. The place is small, when it get crowded, it’s pretty hard to get around.

We were tired touring in the downtown entire day and quickly found this place. The place is a bit hard to find, somehow hidden in a China town food plaza, not very commercial at all compared to Korean city we went yesterday. So we thought we probably made wrong choice and better lower our expectation. It actually turned out to be the smartest choice we have ever made in this trip! Absolutely one of the best Chinese seafood restaurants we’ve ever had in the U.S. The lobster is so fresh and delicious! Staff were very nice and kind! We enjoyed every meal and even got traditional red bean soup as desert for free! I will say this – If I live in LA, this restaurant will become my favorite place and always want to go again! Definitely recommend it to anyone traveling to LA for great Chinese food.

In my experience, it is hard to find quality Chinese food in LA. This place has swayed me to believe there are good Chinese places in LA. Came for lunch and they have very reasonably priced lunch specials with large portions. I got Orange Chicken and it looked like about a pound of chicken, along with a side of white rice for about $10. You can’t beat that in terms of quality and price. I will certainly be back soon and recommend others to come here!

Location is on the second floor of a shopping complex right after you get off the escalator. Tables were spread out and they had a tank with live seafood, which you will find a most Chinese restaurants. We ordered about 10 dishes for take out including beef chow fun, Singapore mai fun (vermicelli), salt and pepper pork chops, and green beans. Prices were very reasonable, portions were good and they tasted very classic cantonese. Will be back again for take out. Indoor seating is available, but we like the convenience of takeout.

To start WOW. This restaurant in Chinatown has to be one of my top favorite restaurants to come to. Let me explain the food came very hot and vegetables, meat and sauces were incredible. I was amazed with so much food and the pricing. Next time I come to a Dodger game this is the spot for me for some incredible Chinese food. You must try this restaurant for yourself.
