Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Was a nice experience. Food wasn’t bad. Just don’t think we had the flavor palette to match. Very expensive. We felt they’re much better options for the same food with way better flavor at a way cheaper price. However its a great atmosphere for some drinks and hangout

We were fortunate enough to find Foresta while strolling through Abingdon. They were extremely busy and had no seating available. We left to continue our walk when the hostess came outside to catch us to let us know they had a couple of seats open at the bar. What a treat!!! The decor, atmosphere, food and drinks were all amazing!!! The bartender is world class in his knowledge and service. Add to that the world class food, and super friendly and professional owner and staff. This will become the top restaurant around so make your reservations now!! I have dined at top restaurants all around the world and our experience was second to none!!!

This is going to be a long post~ This place is SPECTACULAR!!!!! It could be a very expensive habit and I don’t know if I’ll have the self control to stay away for very long. Marco the chef presented beautiful food filled with layers of flavor and feeling. The establishment is decorated straight out of a beautiful fantasy. There is a neon sign in the bar area that says “It was all a Dream”~ yes… come true! There is a magical feel from the Enchanted forest, flickering lamps, fairies, pirates, ART EVERYWHERE and super friendly staff. I didn’t want to leave. The appetizers ☆ the duck dinner ☆ the chocolate torte ☆!! Treat Carrie (if you’re lucky enough to get her) like gold! Tip generously. Places like this are rare and deserve all the support. They just opened but soon it will be impossible to get a table so make your reservations. I love everything about this place and feel so lucky to have it in my sweet little town. Thank you so very much! (They also have music activated storm clouds on the ceiling of the bar lounge).

We made reservations for the family at Foresta while back home for a visit from our now home city of Baltimore. The restaurant’s vibe is very cool and welcoming, and definitely unlike any other restaurant in the area! Our drinks were delicious with complex layering flavors. My parents had two small plates (with very generous portions!), while the rest of us ordered entrees, do yourself a favor and have the garlic shrimp stir fry! I desperately wanted to try dessert, but was just too full…this time! Abingdon is lucky to have such a cool and tasty place to eat.

I recently read the article on Foresta as being rated as one of the top restaurants in Abingdon so we chose it as our annual sister Christmas dinner. It did NOT disappoint! The owner and staff were welcoming and the chef graciously accommodated our special requests. I am a vegetarian and he changed the dish for me. The food was wonderful. I have eaten at some of the top restaurants in the US and my meal could have been served in one of them.. The decor was beautiful. We cannot wait to return in the near future!

I visited Foresta for Emory and Henry Homecoming in September. We went to the bar and had cocktails and appetizers and everything was DIVINE! Zane, the owner/bartender/mixologist is a cocktail ARTIST! I fell in love with the Lost City Margarita and another cocktail called Deliverance which had just enough “spicy kick” to completely envelop your tastebuds. I will visit this place every time I go to Abingdon. The food was to die for…a can’t miss for sure!

There is a wizard working in this kitchen. Every bite of our meal was amazing from beginning to end. I had “the magicians nephew” cocktail. Wonderful taste and the creative presentation is where the bartender shines! I followed that up with the filet mignon and my daughter had the spaghetti. I prefer my steak medium well and it was cooked to perfection. Easily the most tender, flavorful steak I have ever eaten. The spaghetti was also so so good. After dinner we tried the French vanilla Gelato and we weren’t disappointed there either. The vanilla flavor was so rich and wonderful. Then you have to head over and take some pictures in the lounge. The decor is so much fun!
