A northern Maine staple! Anything with cheese is great because the local curd cheese. Obviously potatoes dishes as well. Came for the prime rib and lobster rolls. A very unique view of the lake and servers are super nice.

We just wrapped up our first visit to Lakeview after moving to the area in November. We made it for the derby day. Everything was great! Great view! Great food! Great service! Agnes, our waitress, provided friendly and excellent service for us (2 adults and 3 kids). All of it made for a lunch outing that was stress free and yummy.

I’ve been here a few times for dinner and it’s been great experiences. My friend and I enjoy the steak here, it’s delicious how they cook it, the drinks are good and the atmosphere is very welcoming and relaxed. It’s always busy so make sure you give yourself enough time to wait. They close early on Sundays be mindful because we were turned away once. The servers are ok, some go above and beyond some just do enough. The view is amazing in the summer and fall. The indoor decor is beautiful during the holidays.

Love this place, the view cannot be beat! The restaurant looks out over a gorgeous lake and we caught it at sunset!! This time we went with our daughter & her fiance. We were lucky enough to score a window seat!! The “boys had the prime rib, which was outstanding, they both raved. my daughter had chicken, which she thoroughly enjoyed and I opted for salmon, which was perfectly prepared. The service was great. Prices are very fair. Can’t wait to go back!!

Worth the drive every time. Had the haddock on a sandwich and entree, cannot recall which breading was more delicious so just suggest trying both. And do not skip on the pies, and don’t start an argument… everyone order your own piece. Then there is wing night, quality top notch and all you can eat!

Food was great, bartender Jes was okay. Staff kept coming over to the bar area looking for the hostess who was sitting at the bar with waitresses. Hostess seemed very bothered to have people waiting at the door to be sat. Food is always amazing, service is sadly declining largely over the years. Hope they can turn it around with some staff that are happy to be there. The chefs and owners deserve it for the product they put out!

The food was amazing!! The clam chowder was the best I’ve ever had and the lobster roll was fresh and delicious. The hamburg steak was so succulent, that you didn’t even need a knife to cut it. The stuffed mushrooms completed the meal as one of the best appetizers ever. And if that’s not enough for you, then wait till you see the view of the lake. This place is a must go to for any local or traveler passing by.

Great view!!! Good and service not so much!!! I had plastic in my French onion soup. My wife got the dressing for her salad drinks were week. Spent well over a hundred dollars for dinner and nothing taken off for their mistakes. We heard how great it was!!!! Left very disappointed!!! We will not be back!!! We will go to goveners in PI in stead!!!! Highly disappointed ☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️
