If I could give it zero stars I would. I placed the order through their own website. I received an email confirmation saying that my food would be delivered by 7:10pm. Still have not received it. Called store and was told that they can not help me they don’t have access to their online ordering that only a manager can and he will have to call me back. Will not be ordering again.

I ordered General tso tofu as well as a large chicken and rice soup.
For years, Foliage had been my go to spot for delicious Chinese takeout. Their food is always fresh and well prepared as well as easy and understanding communication provided by staff.
It’s shocking why Foliage has bad reviews because everytime I order, the food is clearly fresh and never over or undercooked compared to other Chinese restaurants in New Haven or east haven.
If you want great Chinese food at great cost and timely delivery for either yourself or the whole family, Foliage is your best choice!

The food is just not good here, I’ve gone several times because the location is convenient but I’m definitely done. The fried rice is dry as if it’s old rice that’s just been reheated, the wontons in the wonton soup were basically all dough no meat, and maybe I’m mistaken but I thought chow mein would be a stir fried noodle dish not a strange clear, semi-gelatinous slop. Do not order the chow mein it’s truly disgusting and inedible, a complete waste of money.

I ordered orange chicken and white rice. They gave me pork fried rice when we got home and realized I called & they said “you can’t eat pork” and I said that’s not the point I spent 30$ I WANT WHAT I ORDERED. I don’t eat egg and I don’t eat pork and I’m not going to eat it because YOU simply dont want to fix your mistakes. Then they said the combo doesn’t come with white rice but I have got it with white rice before. We usually come here once a week and never had a problem but I will never come here again because of how rude the girl that answered was and how she could care less that they messed my food up and didn’t offer to fix it. I’m assuming they didn’t want to remake it because they were closed/ closing soon. Never again lost customer for life!

The Worst food I’ve ever purchased in my life. Lobster fried rice was missing the Lobster. Fried chicken wings raw, just looked cooked until you bite into it & what!!! bloody! I ordered on line over $120.00 for five person meal. Mixed vegetables only two broccoli & carrots. I wouldn’t send anyone there to eat, not even a cat or dog on the street. REPEAT! You are taking your life down the tubes. Yes! I am angry! You would be as well. On The menus food looks good but it’s bait & switch. Trust me don’t dine, take out or eat there. Bottom line .

Don’t bother ordering , they will tell you a delivery time but take over an hour and a half past that time. When you call after half an hour they say it’s on its way , you wait another half an hour and call back and they said it’s still on its way. It’s not until you request to cancel the order and want a refund that the food magically appears and is cold . The people I spoke to over the phone were extremely rude as stated they do no refunds and hung up on me. Don’t waste your time .
