What you need to know: Solid sushi, good rolls, solid nigiri, decent gyoza.

This is the first review I’ve ever left for an establishment in my life and I just need to comment on the incredible customer service by this team. I wish I could have remembered everyone by name, but they are so thorough and so kind. As someone that experienced working in the service industry first hand for several years, I know how hard it is to comply with customers and work to the best of my ability. Each team member here went above and beyond throughout my entire experience and they all deserve a raise. I hope to one day see this business expand beyond the parameters of The Works so they can have their own stand-alone establishment. Kudos to everyone. Everything was delicious and labeled for a to-go order and handled with care and myself and my business down the street will continue to give them my money. Please someone in management tell them they did a great job, they need to hear it.

Best sushi I have ever had! Great customer service and great food! I will be coming back just for this place alone!!! Try the lobster roll, it’s phenomenal!!! As you can see we devoured the rolls because they were so amazing! But the bang bang shrimp was amazing as well! Highly recommend, those bad reviews are definitely not accurate at all!!!!

This place has potential but they need more staff. Went there around 6pm on Saturday and the Food Hall was pretty busy, but I chose this place because it had the shortest line (3 people were in front of me). I ordered 1 roll and after ordering, I waited for about 40 minutes before it was ready. Also note, that all of Food Works seems a little bit overpriced, but I excused that by not having to pay for parking/valet. The Flying Fish staff were nice but overwhelmed, it was only 2 on the front line and you could tell they were exhausted with all the orders and a lack of urgency. The roll was good, they just need more help. Will probably go again once they become more efficient, but that will be a while.
