We sell gobs of fresh catfish, shrimp and oysters, grilled fish, shrimp cocktail, fish cocktail, crab legs, burgers, chicken and mudbugs (crawfish) in season. A specialty selection of grilled salmon, trout or tilapia is also offered each day. Ice cold Tap and bottled Beer, wine and home made margaritas are also served. We even have KIDS BOAT meals for your minnows! The Flying Fish is a “fast-casual” format – come as you are!!! Parents, grandparents, kids — ALL are welcome! We offer more than just a wide selection of fish. We have great hamburgers, chicken tenders and fresh salads galore. If you want us to top your salad with a piece of grilled fish, we have that too. My first time experience here good. To start, the decor is pretty funny and we had a good laugh at the punny shirts! The seating area is relaxed, nothing fancy. The food was just okay. I personally ate the Poor boy gator sandwich and wasn’t very impressed, just felt like it was alright. The rest of my party seemed to enjoy their fix and jambalaya plates! The cashier was helpful and friendly. And LOVE their nugget ice! I feel it was worth experiencing their menu at least once!

Got my dinner delivered from this place through Uber eats. The food was packed well and served hot. The salad with fried chicken pieces were pretty decent- I wish there were a little more avocado, and some corn/ bean in it. The sesame- ginger dressing was good and the fried chickens were delicious. The French fries were kinda decent- however, the portion size was mediocre as compared to the price. I had the feeling that the salad will come with two hush puppies, however it was not there!! I was disappointed. Overall, I liked the salad.

Great location, just few steps from The Peabody Hotel. Friendly people around and delicious food freshly made to your order at the counter. I loved the Jambalaya with Shrimp and my wife enjoyed the big bowl of fresh and crispy Salad with grilled Shrimp. The Gator nuggets are simply delicious. Highly recommended.

This is a fun place to eat. The food was really good. I had the fried catfish and shrimp with gumbo and my friend had the grilled grouper. I really enjoyed mine and my friend said the grouper was really good too. The only thing I didn’t like was a long wait in line to order but it was worth it.

First and foremost, the fish was absolutely amazing. Had COD with their Cajun seasoning. It was moist and pretty good. The staff was in their own world, which is the theme of the restaurant. It is a very do it yourself kind of place. Atmosphere… it’s awfully fishy… no.. seriously. Fish everywhere, cute but nothing too spectacular.
