The Flope Bar & Restaurant is one of the only places in the region to get authentic Honduran food. I had the Pollo con Tajadas, which also came with a side of a cabbage coleslaw. It was fairly quiet in the afternoon and the service was good. Flope’s is a great place to try a new cuisine that can be a bit harder to find in the area. The food was so good, I got an order of the pastelitos to go. I’ll definitely be back to try their version of the traditional Honduran breakfast (frijoles, platanos, y huevos).

Excellent Mexican and Hispanics c food! Fast service, homemade “true Hispanic food” not an Americanized version ie.. Taco Bell….Wonderful staff, clean restaurant and a pleasant atmosphere.

The food was excellent but it is more Honduran and not Mexican. They do NOT have queso or guac. The service was superb and so was the food. I would definitely return and it was a very chill environment; I even brought my child. Only a 4star because of no queso or guac. Other than 10/10 will definitely return!

I got food poisoning. They don’t read/speak English well enough to get your order correct. The food we had was pretty good but it wasnt what we ordered. I got food poisoning from the chicken. I would not recommend. Owner seems flippant.

Growing up on mexican food in San Antonio, I hadn’t had Honduran before. I am now a fan. I had the Honduran enchiladas and empanadas on two different visits. They were both absolutely delicious. I mean, change your mood delicious. The one warning is don’t be in a hurry, because they make the food from scratch to order which takes time. Five stars is not enough, but it is all I can gime.

I’m not a bar person but decided to go a little early to avoid any possible crowd for Cinco de Mayo. Had a fish taco very tender and good. Chips and salsa looked freshly made/fried, tasted great: not too much cilantro. Tried (sample shot size) the strawberry margarita: WOW, whoowhee! Glad I only had a taste. A whole one would have had me curled up to snooze. Very strawberry tasting, a great mixed drink. The barmaid Chrissy was exceptional. The owner was pleasant to speak to. Worth a visit. Parking was only issue, but I was unfamiliar with parking on a street I typically just drive down.

This restaurant is an amazing new find! Four of us visited and all loved our choices! Highly recommend shrimp chimichanga, barbacoa chimichanga, tacos dorados, and chicken quesadilla. The guacamole is out of this world! The chips are handmade and addictive. The boys got the margaritas and are some of the best I have ever tasted! If you haven’t heen here yet, it’s a must in Cheviot/Cincinnati.

Great food and atmosphere. Food is way better the americanized Mexican restaurants in the area. All home made and muy bueno.
