Went for a last minute brunch. Service was really good and the place was clean. Food in general was good with the exception of my brisket skillet it was alright (3.5/5). Probably should have stuck to pancakes, the pancakes I had were really good and the pancakes coming out of the kitchen looked amazing.

Flips Pancake House is a fantastic spot for breakfast lovers! They serve a wide variety of delicious pancakes with creative toppings and fillings. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is cozy. I highly recommend trying their signature pancake stack. You won’t be disappointed!

I entered the establishment behind a gentleman who walked straight back to the kitchen at 1:59pm. My friend and I also arrived and inquired whether they were still serving. The waitress confirmed that they were open and their service would continue for another 30 minutes. The gentleman lifted his hands in a gesture as though questioning the presence of us. Previously, this location possessed a pleasant atmosphere, and I felt a little taken aback by the encounter. The waitresses appeared to be confused as well. I was unsure if he was the owner, but the encounter was uncomfortable. Eventually, our food was served, and the cook and crew members, including the gentleman who arrived just before us, came and sat in the dining area at approximately 2:18pm. During this time, the same gentleman consistently gazed at us, which made us feel uneasy. We became disinterested and ceased eating, walked up to the register to pay, and I inquired of one of the servers, who stated that the gentleman “is one of the owners of the establishment.” This was one of the most awkward and uncomfortable dining experiences we’ve encountered in the QC. The establishment closed at 2:30pm, and we left in our car at 2:26pm. I am uncertain if they had planned to close precisely at 2:30pm. Hopefully, the other locations in the QC are more inviting.

Place was very busy and had to wait an hour for our table. We had a large group (9 adults) and were kind of crammed into a booth with a chair at the end. Our server did what she could to keep the table clear of dirty dishes but it wasn’t easy. Food was great. The large orange juice wasn’t really large but I didn’t see what a small OJ size was either. Had to have 3 glasses with my meal….I liked the freshly squeezed stuff though.

First visit to this new Flips. The service was excellent. The food was excellent. I had the veggie bowl scrambled eggs. My wife had the cinnamon pancakes that she enjoyed very much. Very nice new place.

Unlike the other comments if you walk in at 30 minutes to closing time and think your going to chat for an hour I understand why they were glaring at you. The problem I have isn’t the food. Its the fact the owner thought it would be a good idea to make a pancake house in a strip mall. This franchise will close not because the food is bad. It will close because of the lack of seating and the wait. Most people can’t even wait 4 minutes without freaking out at a drive thru. Instead of 4 locations with no seating and a 30 minute wait. Maybe you should have 2 locations with a bigger capacity. I predict these will fizzle out and all the locations will close except the one by the bet plx. Thanks for the 25 minute wait to sit and the 20 minutes for food.
