We arrived on a Sunday just as they were opening. We were greeted with a smile. The restrooms were clean. There was a limited menu because they had been busy Saturday evening. We ordered a Jerk Chicken meal and a Chicken Curry meal. There was a lot of food! Both meals came with a large serving of delicious white rice, 2 slices of fried plantains, the meat, pickled cole slaw, and another side of steamed/smothered cabbage withcarrots and a few bellpeppers We tried 4 different drinks from their refrigerated drinks. There is a full service bar, as it is labeled restaurant and lounge. Everything was delicious! The curry chicken was scrumptious. I definitely wanted to order more to bring home. It came with its Jamaican version of curry sauce, carrots, and potatoes. The jerk chicken was mildly spicy and smoked. We spoke with our server as we were checking out, and she told us of their coco bread that they fill with a paté (different types). We’ll definitely return and try new things next time!

came here twice already, so refreshing to FINALLY have good caribbean food in fort walton. all the other jamaican places around here seem to put a pound of sugar to make their gravy, but the meat is soooo good here, not sweet at all! love it!

I went with my husband for my birthday and the food was absolutely incredible. We were the only people in the restuarant, and the folks running it were the kindest, awesomest people, I tried some things I hadn’t had before, and I’ll tell you now- the curry was to die for. Wonderful people, flavorful food, chill atmosphere, we had a fantastic time. Everything was made to order and it was a great experience. Looking forward to going back!

First time trying Jamaican food since 2017. I went with my homegirl we both got oxtails and my first time trying it was good. I also got a beef patty and it tasted really authentic. I got a beef patty to go for my mom and when she tried it she feel in love and it reminder her of New York. The owner and I believe her husband were very nice. IG thefoodgoddess10_

I already wrote a lengthy review on DoorDash about this place, so I won’t write one here. Just know it’s worth the drive to go to Bamboo’s Jamaican Restaurant or that one on Mary Esther Cutoff near the HotHead Burritos. But not here. Maybe you’ll have a better experience, but I personally wouldn’t eat here again. There are other options. Also thinking the good reviews probably aren’t as accustomed to Jamaican food to know what it’s supposed to taste like. Either that, or they had a different cook at the time.

Would give this place a 0 if I could. First off, this place is destine to fail! You advertise that you open at 11:00, but don’t have anything to sell until 1:30 or 2:00. Doors open and you telling people you not ready to serve people…ridiculous! I literally wasted my entire lunch break trying to get food from this place. The atmosphere, cleanliness, and look of the place is nice but the customer service is terrible! They need to get there stuff together in order to stay in business; meaning come to work early to prep yourself before customers come through the door. One guy that walked in behind me told them they are loosing business. I went to another Caribbean place and got some food. I guess money isn’t everything!

The brown stew fish is amazing. Portions are beyond adequate. Great flavor, would also recommend the curry goat. It was really delicious. Definitely going back.

Food order was not available and employees were power tripping about who’s gonna make what no one wanted to prepare the food I would highly recommend that no 1 go there for food because there’s a chance you may not get your food

The food was delicious. It did take some time but it was worth the wait. I had curry chicken, rice and peas with cabbage. I am from the caribbean and i can say it was authentic.
