Our Fish Place Dickinson family is always focused on providing warm and sincere service, with a cheerful and frank attitude. Over time we have built a space of great Cajun flavor. We are winners of the 2020 Gold Ribbon Award from the Galveston County Health District, for which we have strict hygiene standards, a safe, friendly and family-friendly environment at a fair price. So my girl and her mom took took to this place. Yes, there menu is filled with fried food, but they also have grilled food and I’ve never heard of a grilled fish Burrito before, had to order it w/ mixed veggies and corn on the cob. Absolutely delicious! Hope to come here again one day.

Update 9/1… had the Seafood Soup today which is very very good. Great taste and a ton of shrimp, oysters and fish. Comes with rice and bread. I like the rice mixed in with the soup. Huge bowl and enough leftover for dinner.

I had forgotten about this place until we were in the area. Definitely worth going to. Not too many restaurants offer fried redfish and we really like the Cajun flavor breading. Light and crispy.

The best fried catfish I’ve had in a long time! I ordered fried okra & a baked potato. No greasy oil at all!! Just delicious! I brought home my baked potato, because I was full!! Very good service & building is so clean! I’ll be back to try other menu foods!!

Not sure where to start. The sweet tea was so delicious, we both had 2- 3 glasses. The wife and I had the appetizer sampler with the boudin balls, shrimp red fish balls, stuffed jalapeños came with chips also. Every item was so hot and fresh we woofed them down in no time. She then ordered the catfish po boy, said it was awesome. I had the crawfish etouffe, fried okra, Mac n cheese ( which to me was absolutely fantastic, kinda tastes like Velveeta cheese, with some extra cheddar and a hint of jalapeño) neither one of us could finish the entrees so of course we brought them back to the hotel, the wife still snagged a chocolate cake To Go. She can’t wait to Crack into it, and I can’t wait to wake up in the middle of the night and smash the rest of the food. Yes we did spend alot on the 2 of us, but for the first time being there and reading all the other reviews I wanted to see for myself. So glad I did!

Where to start.. we order fried catfish (it wasn’t catfish) the grilled salmon that was the size of a KFC biscuit for $20.99 was over priced. The fried fish and catfish was either under cooked or overcooked. The coleslaw was horrible, watered down, not like any coleslaw I have ever tasted. I don’t know if the ownership has changed or new cook staff, but the food is horrible. Don’t waste your time and money. I don’t recommend anything here. I would give negative stars if possible.

Very nice local restaurant. Clean and welcoming. Fresh and wide variety of items on the menu. Fish cooked to a beautiful golden brown, slightly under seasoned. Great value so I highly recommend and will return.
