Traveling through South Dakota on our recent road trip we stopped in Rapid City and had a delicious meal at the Firehouse Brewing Co. It’s in the original city fire station. There are two different dining areas – outside (partially under a roof) in what I assume was the original fire truck garage) was too loud for me – so we chose the indoor seating, near the bar.

Cheesy bread is phenomenal. Great drink options and shareable foods.

Good food and 4 legged friendly. They provided water for our pups on a warm day. Good food but it took a bit to get our order taken. However, it was during a slow time so I can’t really fault them for that. Overall a great source of good food and a pleasant atmosphere right on the creek in downtown Martinez. We have seen this place evolve over the years and we like what firehouse grill has become. They also often have live music and are a great family venue.

I took my 82 year old neighbor for her birthday. She had been craving a good burger and was not disappointed! Nice, fat, juicy patty, toasted brioche bun. Fries were hot and crispy. Would definitely go back.

Would have liked to give 5 stars but service was on the poor side. Never received our appetizer, when you serve prime rib you should serve it with au jus and horse radish. Over all food was pretty good, lobster roll was on the very spicy side. Be prepared very loud environment.

We didn’t eat, so I didn’t rate food. Sat at the bar. The bartender and her helper were extremely friendly and welcoming. It wasn’t a planned thing, but when the place we thought we were going was closed, we tried it on a lark. Found a good IPA. I would go again just to hang out with the bartender, she is really great.

They have one of the best outdoor dining areas, and the food is very good. It’s more sit down style then a casual beer pub, so if you’re looking for something quick or smaller, I’d recommend a bar seat rather than a table. Attentive and professional service.

Went for a walk downtown and wanted to try this place out. Now, some people may remember “Louie Bertolla’s,” which used to be this really great place to eat back in the day. Well, this is the new restaurant that now has found a home here. The place looks updated yet exactly the same character from when I used to go to the aforementioned restaurant. The lamb chops were good. Nice slightly sweet glaze on them. Great char on the lamb as well. The burger and fries that moinseuer got was well seasoned and a hefty portion. Great vibe and energy. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive.
