Plenty of choices to choose from. Food was fresh and hot. Quiet atmosphere and friendly staff. Place was clean.

Very nice staff. Food was good and had a lot of flavor. It wasn’t like most other places where everything pretty much tastes the same. They bring out small batches of food so there isn’t a giant pan just sitting there of something. The only thing I could say was that they didn’t change a few of the dishes out that aren’t as popular so they weren’t really warm anymore. Definitely a great place to go regardless.

I love this place. It’s been open for a long time. It’s a family operation and I remember when the hostess was a kid herself. Now she has a teenager of her own. The food here is always freshly prepared and delicious. It’s one of the few Chinese buffets that serves Springfield Chicken. This is reasonably priced and definitely worth the trip.

Definitely one of my favorite American Chinese restaurant around. The batter for their general tso chicken or fried chicken is the best around. It remains crispy even after coating in sauce. The rest of their food is also super legit. What makes a good restaurant is the consistency. They are definitely consistent with both food quality and friendly service!

Go here for lunch with colleges occasionally, the woman at the front who runs the register remembers all of us every time and personal things about us like if we went on a vacation or are on a special diet, what our favorite items are. The food is always fresh and we’ll made- even the fried items don’t taste “just” fried, they put effort and skill into their recipes. Best Chinese buffet I’ve been to and at a good price.

Food is always great. Owners are super nice and really take care of you. If something is missing from the buffet, they make sure to refill it right away. If you ask for it, they sometimes even bring it to you before putting it out on the buffet so you get it first. Just a family friendly restaurant where they get to know you.

This is a great, family run restaurant that my whole family enjoys. It is only open M – F (no weekends) Lunch and Dinner, so be sure to check out the hours before you go. The twice cooked pork is some of the best I have ever had. Drinks (they have hot tea available) are included in the price, children get a discounted rate depending on their age. The choices are limited (2 hot bars) but the dishes are loaded with flavor!

Maybe it was a slow night for them, but my experience was very disappointing. The food was not so fresh IMO. When the green beans are all wrinkled, you know its been there for awhile… I did like the Hot and Sour Soup.. very unique flavor to it. But the rest of the food just did not impress me at all and the 4.4 rating I saw here definitely was not what I experienced last night.

The food was pretty good, but they had very little product out. Bad vegetarian options. You have to pay before you sit down, which is off putting. The atmosphere was bad – no background music and too quiet. Service was mediocre. I was in search of the elusive awesome KC area Chinese buffet. This didn’t make the cut.

I’ve been going to Fire Wok for years and highly recommend it. It is owned and operated by a great, caring family. There is a cozy atmosphere and good buffet selection. I recommend the beef broccoli and beef green beans always cooked excellently with nice crisp vegetables.
