We had an early morning meeting in Brownsville and stopped here for a quick bite. This cool 50’s style diner is located along the waterfront. We were quickly seated and served. My wife and I split a Steak and Cheese Omelet with home fries. Excellent omelet! The frozen mini cut potatoes were very bland. That delicious omelet deserves better. Friendly service got us in and out in time for our scheduled meeting.

Our family loved our experience at Fiddles. We’re from the Pacific NW and told to check out this diner. Had breakfast. Our daughters had the stuffed French toast (one had strawberry-filled, the other banana)…unique and scrumptious! The omelet and home fries were delicious as well. Service was quick and attentive. I ordered normal breakfast food, eggs, bacon, potatoes and toast. Everything was great! I enjoyed the location of the building as well. Loved it and so did my 4 year old son. They looked up the chicken strips for him to make sure they didn’t have egg or milk in it due to his allergies… he ate Soooo many ignoring the French fries (not his usual MO with FF). Ihadtheoatmealwith coffee. My fiancee had their double cheese burger and added bacon, onions, lettuce, and BBQ sauce. We had a great experience and the staff was friendly and helpful!

IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD! Me & my husband just left here because we sat there for atleast 30 minutes and our order never got taken, as we sat & watched the waitress, wait on the two tables who came after us. Now they were not busy at all, there was only one other table there when we came, so that’s not the issue! What was the issue that our order didn’t get took? My husband said he believes she didn’t take our order & took everyone else’s order instead of ours because he is black and she didn’t want to wait on us. I have never in my whole life had this type of service. Shame on you waitresses at this restaurant! We are so disgusted by this we lost our appetite.
