Hard to find a comparable seafood market than Fat Boys in Maryland. The service was excellent as they bring your crabs right to your car in a timely manner. The crabs came out piping hot and the same size we ordered (large). We also got fried fish which was taken fresh from the display and cooked perfectly. The prices are budget friendly too. We can’t wait to come back for more.

Call the Health Department. TAKE A BOX WITH YOU SO YOU CAN DUMP OUT YOUR CRABS TO MAKE SURE YOU ARE NOT GETTING REHEATED OLD CRABS. NEVER AGAIN. On july 29th I ordered a bushel and 1/2 of mediums for my birthday. Normally they are the best. I ordered them to be picked up on July 30th at 5. Supposed to come with 18 ears of corn and 3 pounds of shrimp. $160. Would have been a great deal, but they ran out of corn and didn’t even tell me ahead of time so it was too late to get corn and cook it and the crabs were cold. There is no doubt in my mind WE GOT SOME OLD reheated crabs. I waited 15 minutes as they said my order wasn’t done. So I should have had steaming hot crabs. They were Luke warm at best and some were down right cold. It took me about 25 minutes to get home. They should have been at least Luke warm at best. We have bought crabs numerous times, too many to count over the years, and the drive was not long enough to be cold. Matter of fact, they were still piping hot in the past. We had some ice cold crabs that you could tell were reheated.worse was the response I got when I called. That guy knew he gave me reheated crabs and then told me I waited an hour to call which was a lie. I ordered them for 5, got there at 4:50, crabs did not come out until 5:10-5:15. All they did was make excuses. At least 3 dozen tasted bad, it was evident they were dead when cooked and we trashed them. I had 12 other adults that were there and everyone came to the same conclusion. There is no way that drive made the crabs ice cold in the middle. Maybe they need the health department to do a visit.

Placed an order for pickup and they told us they would be ready at 4:45. When we got there at 4:40 and paid they added us to the line. We waited 45 minutes for crabs. Several were empty and also undercooked. King crab legs were cold and clearly not cooked all the way from frozen. Save your money and time and go down the street to Skipjacks

Ordered 1/2 bushel medium females extra spice got home and the crabs were super small and little to no spice, took them back and they refused to refund me my money when there is no sign posted saying No refunds. They offered a upgrade of large and they was worse than the first batch finger was literally going straight thru the shell. Do not recommend at all.

We went here today (for our first time ever) and got steamed shrimp for our anniversary. It was so good! It was cooked fresh while we waited. Got ours heavily spiced, and absolutely recommend it! We will definitely be going back!

Went in Wednesday and ordered 2 lbs of shrimp and asked each pound be put in a separate container. The containers felt light so weighed them when I got home. Each one weighed in at a wee bit over 1/2 lbs. To top it off, although the price board said $8.00 @ pound – the employee charged me $10 @ lbs.. Apparently, if the manager isn’t there, the female employee felt she could scam customer. She doesn’t comprehend she cost them a customer.

My mom’s wish before heart surgery was to enjoy some yummy steamed crabs. I ordered them extra spicy and this is what we got. There must have been a single tablespoon of old bay sprinkled on the entire batch cuz they looked like they had been run under water like you would for a child. And I even asked the cashier about the old bay and he said oh yeah, we use J.O. Zero rock salt and they sell J.O. right there on the shelf. Crab meat had good flavor, but dayum where’s the seasoning? Not likely to buy there again.
