I had a great time today. I’m definitely excited that a waitress I knew from somewhere else is now working there. The sweet tea is definitely southern and perfect. I enjoy their bacon egg and cheese omelets at breakfast and their steak subs for lunch . The atmosphere was nice. The place was not too cold or too hot, and it smelled great. We were checked regularly and always were greeted with a smile. My mother ordered the Grits and claims they are one of the best in town. The food came out nice and hot and in a Respectable amount of time. They are located back next to Lake Lillian, which gives a nice place to walk around after filling up on delicious food. The parking lot allows plenty of parking spaces and easy access to get in-and-out. I do believe the pricing of the food is pretty good compared to all the other places around, and the food taste is definitely worth the money. I can’t wait to try more on their menu as I know I will not be left disappointed if you are looking for a new breakfast spot or a place to try. You should definitely come here for some good home town cooking .

Service is always good. I don’t think the kitchen is up to par they misread orders constantly but quality is good. Just don’t think I will be returning was told new owner take 20% of the tips from servers that’s horrible. Servers are always busy friendly and attentive. I wish they got all the money us customers leave for them.

This place haa amazing food and great prices or so we thought. We came to eat one afternoon and i had a craving for a ham slice . So i oredered one. Once our food was brought out to us, i took a look at the bill and realized that this skinny ham slice was $4.50. I understand that prices are going up but this is absolutely price gouging. If i wouldve known it was that much then i wouldve said no. That is ridiculous. You can buy an entire ham slice at winn dixie for 6.00 . Very disappointing.

The wait staff was wonderful! Whoever they have in the kitchen, though, needs to consider another job. While the food was good their attitude was not. They didn’t read the order recipe correctly and didn’t trust our waitress and made her bring the ticket to the kitchen to show him he was wrong. He then wanted our waitress to take back his plate to the kitchen to show him. There was food he was still eating in his plate! It was the eggs that were wrong. He ordered over easy and was given over easy hard. We used to enjoy coming there with our family and friends. Unless they change things in the kitchen, we’re not coming back.

The food is always good and affordably priced. The place is pleasant, homey and comfortable. The servers are very friendly, but our experience the last couple of visits has been that something about our order is either wrong or missing. It’s not a big deal and they’re happy to fix it as long as you can get their attention. Yesterday, I had to get up and go to the front desk because I couldn’t flag down a server to get the bacon and syrup that was supposed to come with my order. It wasn’t a huge problem, just a minor annoyance because my food was getting cold while I waited on those items.

The server was fabulous!!!! The cook, not so much. He both erred an order and missed an item. He wanted receipt proof before he fulfilled the missing item and then, wanted the plate returned to the kitchen for visual proof that he messed up before fixing. He didn’t trust his own wait staff who were working their tails off, by the way, nor the customer. It was frustrating to be in that dysfunctional environment.

My husband and I got the patty melt and Philly cheesesteaks to split with sweet tea. The patty melt wasn’t exactly what I expected, I’m used to patty cheese onions and 1000 island on rye. It was just a patty and a ton of cheese with onions. It was good though so I can’t complain. Service is as mentioned on the pillar out front so can’t knock off stars for that. Got our food quick and it was super hot and fresh!
