I’ve been visiting Tokyo One multiple times throughout the years. I liked them before COVID-19 because the buffet prices were around $20 and the food was good. They also have a lot of options for entrees, sushi, and desserts. The restaurant is clean, but the buffet area could use more work.

Went to this place for Saturday dinner, $36 per person, and $46 w/ crab leg. Crab leg served in cold, not steam. Great quality food, except the blue crab is not fresh. Soup needs to be ordered from the server, which means waiting is required. Overall, it’s a good quality sushi restaurant.

Went there day before Mothers Day and lunch was packed. Waited 20 mins before seated which was fine. This place used to be called yellowtail or something similar. The hot food section is much reduced. Ramen, soup and some items you had to ask the server to bring to your table. I asked for ramen, I got udon. It wasnt very good. The quality of the sashimi was also not very good, mostly tasteless slices of fish which i guess is expected for sushi buffets. Not quite the experience of the OG tokyo one in Addison. Those were the days

The food at this restaurant is quite fresh and delicious, but there is a time limit of 90 minutes. It’s really inconvenient for my family because we have a young child and being restricted by the time limit puts a damper on our dining experience. We are unable to fully enjoy all the dishes the restaurant has to offer.

Overrated buffet that is overhyped. We went to this place for Mother’s Day and had to wait for almost 30 minutes to get seated, leaving us less than an hour to get seated and started eating. The buffet is really limited, with buffet items that can be made fresh from ordering (except for order only items: Steamed eggs & Lamb Chop). There is one line of hot food, round of cheap fruits, sushi, sashimi, and ramen/udon station. That is about all this buffet has to offer. The Takoyaki is definitely store bought, so is the tempura, sesame ball, and dumplings. The rest of buffet items are only slightly better than cheaper Asian buffet with tiny shrimps added into their fried rice and sesame oil added into their yakisoba/lomein, but the extra cost this place is isn’t worth the slight better quality.

Great experience overall. Wonderful variety of Japanese food. In terms of quality it was ok. Definitely a great spot if you want a large variety of food or if you just want a bunch of sashimi. Great service and atmosphere though.

Everything was going well until there was a piece of silver dish scrubber in the shrimp fried rice…I also found a hair in the fried rolls I lost my appetite afterwards. Will not be back.

I have enjoyed the place each time I have visited, highly recommended, all-you-can-eat buffet, including really good and friendly table service, good and quality food, a wide variety of plates, and desserts to try. The Quality/Cost/ValueRelationship is reasonable.

We love the food here, it always tastes so fresh and hot (temperature). Lots of choices to choose from. Never see so many types of sushi at any other places I like all of their soup options (miso, ramen, udon), they season it just right~ The desserts are also delicious!
