Portions and flavor were as expected–meaning good. The price was very reasonable. This is a small restaurant which didn’t have much of an atmosphere, but I was there for the food not the atmosphere. I will definitely go back to get more of their tasty food.

Have ordered from here/ eaten in restaurant a few times already and each time, the food was delicious. One time, they were out of pineapple fried rice, and Rumi (not sure if I spelled her name right), recommended the Pad See Ewe. Didn’t know what that was aside from them being flat noodles. They were actually wide flat noodles, but I’m glad she recommended it because wow, that was really tasty! Staff is also very friendly so I recommend this place. I do know they did get an upgrade so it looks a bit fancier now inside. Definitely a must try! Their cheese roll is also amazing!

About three weeks ago, Esarn Thai changed owners to PLOY Thai Cuisine (two other Houston area locations). So the 127 prior Google reviews are for the original hole in the wall restaurant that was here for over a decade.

PLOY killed this restaurant. Terrible business owners! Sad place! Bad decorations (same generic wall art 4-5 times repeated) Food is not great. Appetizer buffet is sad. The service here is amazing. However, the pad Thai was a joke. I’ve been to about 8 places that serve pad Thai and this one was by far the worst. In the video below you can see how dry the noodles are. Also, the beef is so dry that you can literally see white spots on it. The entirety of the food would lift out of the bowl together because of how dry the noodles were. I felt like I needed to cut it with a knife and eat it like cake. I ate this food maybe 10mins after preparation. Total was $18, which was $16 + $2 tip. If they want to make pad Thai this mediocre then they need to lower the price or include a soup on the side or something.

The taste of the food is good, but the service is poor. Ordered water workout ice, red wine, and Pad Thai with shrimp. Got water with ice, white wine, and Pad Thai with chicken. It took over 35 minutes to get our food and it was not even hot. Very disappointed.

1st time back in a few years. New decor very nice. Service was slow to greet us. Had to order drinks twice they forgot about us. Waited for 25 mins for food. Food was good but can’t spend that much time waiting for food at lunchtime. If they were faster, they’d probably have a better lunch crowd.
