Do not eat here! The orange chicken was pure oil and some of it was not even cooked all the way. For $10 you get a handful of veggies half a cup of meat and a big ball of white rice. Oh and my wife’s mushroom chicken came with all mushroom and exactly 3 pieces of chicken. Will never come here again. Last point not to come, once the errors had been pointed out we received attitude and condescending remarks in Mandarin… to bad I know a little.

The food was awful. The Kung Pao Chicken was coated in this caked on substance and incredibly salty; the peanuts were burned and the sauce stuck to the roof of my mouth like goo. The “steamed vegetables” were literally raw and the whole meal was unpleasant. Spare yourself the heartburn.

For airport food it was very good. Fresh and generally healthy alternative to most of the other fast food selections. I had the Crispy Beef, while probably not the healthiest option on the menu, it did come with a generous portion of cooked carrots and a couple of broccoli florets. A scoop of hot steamed rice and some low sodium soy sauce, tops off a decent meal.

I see this place is temporarily closed and I’m hoping it is permanent. Food is terrible and I have never been so sick with food poisoning in my life. It took 3 days before I even felt safe being any further than 20ft from a toilet. It was so bad that I almost went to the hospital to get an IV and the only time in my life that I thought death might be a good option. In the unfortunate event that this place reopens don’t eat here if you if you don’t want to feel like your colon is going to drop out of your body.

If I could give it zero stars that would be too much praise for this “restaurant”. The order took almost 20 minutes to be ready. Their $12 orange chicken – A mix of frozen chicken nuggets with the cheapest imitation of orange sauce and raw onion and carrots. Sides were a tasteless sticky rice and undercooked broccoli.

The Walnut shrimp is a very good dinner. Lots of shrimp. Vegetables not overcooked, unusual for airport food. Have eaten here several times. There is one older woman who is very unfriendly and grouchy. Other staff are friendly. The one should be fired as she gives the place a bad name. She didn’t even want to give me a second cup for water even when we ordered two meals and when I requested a water refill she gave me guff. I still return for the freshly prepared food.

If I could give this place 6 stars I would it was honestly amazing. This was the best Chinese style restaurant that I have ever eaten at and would eat there everyday if I didn’t live all the way in Beverly Hills. I ordered the orange chicken meal with rice and steamed vegetables, and allow me to tell you that it was a fine masterpiece of art work inside the container. The chicken was fried to bone dry crisp perfection with the finest orange sauce. The rice was steamed so soggy that it made my mouth water for me. Don’t even get me started on the carrots, you could tell the were freezer burned to my liking and had grey areas that allowed the mold to exfoliate in taste. If my personal chef could make broccoli as well as the chef at the Emerald Express then I would give him a 100$ raise right now for his exceptional work. Next time I come to the airport I am sure that I will fill up the tip jar with wads of hundos. During the flight I developed a stomach ache but later realized it was from the stage 3 Gastroesophageal Reflux disease that I was diagnosed with earlier in the trip. Overall the Emerald Express gave me an inspiring new look at life and recommend 10/10. Have a exquisite day.

Worst Chinese restaurant I have ever eaten at. I have tired it twice once on Monday on arrival then today on departure. Both time the women behind counter was rude. Couldn’t speak English and on Monday I thought she was going to die because she could barely move and had to call a boss to take my order to understand us. Then charged us wrong and had to call again to know what to do.

Ok. Pretty horrendous, even by Chinese airport food standards. I got the Kung Pao Chicken and it was a thick sludge and EXTREMELY salty, and chicken had a tough fried-like texture. The veggies were barely steamed and bland, no salt, no seasoning and practically raw. I do not recommend it. This place is a hard pass. Save your self the added sodium to your diet it’s not worth it.

The older African American lady working the cash register was extremely rude and intentionally turned her back to a line of customers and said I’m sick of people and being busy. I ordered the orange chicken. It tasted decent but I bit into a bone.
