The chupe de pescado was perfect. It has the right flavor for a chupe. And the saltado de pollo was unique but plenty of flavor and perfect amount of salt…(not salty)

Probably one of the best places we ate during our stay in Palo Alto and surrounding areas. Food was delicious. Sangria was also good. Staff was very friendly and informative.

Good family place to have a meal. The portions are large and some dishes can be easily split. The passionfruit drink is a family favorite as well as the Bistek a la Plancha. Parking is limited in the front lot but you can park on Old County Road (north side) or at Laureola Park. The restaurant staff is friendly and has a great local vibe.

Excellent variety and tasting ceviches. It can be ordered mild or hot (spiced). We chose Ceviche Emelina, Palta Relenza and Bitstrek a la Pobre. We also ordered the super hot sauce on the side. Everything was fabulous. We like the meal so much we ordered two different ceviches to go and 12 oz of the hot sauce. Go enjoy a great neighborhood find.

A very friendly place food was good but it could have had that extra to make it great. The service was welcoming. The calamari was tough I have to admit. It might have just been one of those things. Everything else was was fine. Food is served quickly.

Always love ceviche so looked for a place around San Carlos and found this restaurant with decent reviews. Had ceviche and a pisco sour. Both were really not good. I think this is the first time I just left most of the ceviche untouched, just couldn’t eat it. It looked like a big pot of soup with lots of large pieces of fish in it, not fresh at all and didn’t taste good, almost made me sick having to take a bite. Service wise they also didn’t offer any water and it was a very unpleasant place to sit.

Casual dining, updated decor in a rojo theme gives a classy appearance. Had the grilled salmon with a Peruvian beer, pisco sour and their own quinoa flan, all delicious! Gracious service, eclectic mix of Latin music. An excellent satisfied experience.

Simply a five star! The grilled beef heart was so delicious that I finished the whole plate with my friend even both of us were not hungry at all. The green chili sauce was the best companion to the beef heart. The weekend special duck rice (arroz con pato) was well done too. Crispy skin with juicy meet and the rice was soaked in the duck oil and the spices brought an attempting aroma that you will not forget for days. Bookmarked for the next visit already!
