I am deeply satisfied with Ella’s kitchen. I am a cook, I know how to cook the Haitian food. It’s my pleasure to let you aware that the wonderful lady who is the main cook at Ella’s kitchen is doing a marvelous and fascinating job. I do not know her name, but whoever she is, deserving to be rewarded.

Went here for the first time.. rice and beans was average, but that’s not bad. Turkey was very tender and well seasoned. I was surprised at how tender it was because most places have tough fried turkey. It was a bit pricey but not out of the relm of what it would cost anywhere else. Overall, if im in the area, i will go back. The guy who took my order was funny and friendly. Genuinely cool guy with a contagious laugh.

I ate from here a few months ago only because of a friend that wanted me to go support her friend. I was extremely disappointed not a good experience. Even more disappointed because this is the only Caribbean restaurant in that area. I’d rather drive into Boston to get better quality service and food. There was no menu they were upset with me because I asked for one they were extremely rude and unprofessional. The food did not taste good, it was a waste of my time going there and that even larger waste of my money, the only positive thing that I can say is that the portion size was very generous but the food did not taste good. My suggestion for the business owner and employees is to be polite do your customers treat them with respect. The reputation of a business is dépendent of the customers experience. I unfortunately will not come back to support this poorly run establishment. Good luck to the future of your business.

I normally don’t like to give bad reviews but this restaurant deserves 0 star. The cashier was so rude and very unprofessional.
I walked in to pick up my order.
They shouted loudly with attitude that they’re closed. I ordered three plates of food and was told to pick it up in 45 min.
She proceeded to tell me that they could only make me one plate, which is not what I ordered. She walked away as I’m trying to tell her that I ordered already, she picked up her cell phone and started a whole conversation with someone in front of me.
The customer service was terrible.
You do not treat customers like that.
I hope you guys resolve this issue because you will be losing a lot of faithful customers like me.

I ordered rice and beans with meatballs, the food was awful. The meatballs were burnt to the point that they tasted bitter, and the rice was hard. I called to let them know and the lady who answered did not even apologize for selling me burnt food. She said she was going to ask in the back and call me back. Still no call back and $26 down the drain. Customer service sucks there!

I really wished I read the reviews before ordering food from here. ‍♀️ Today was the first time I’ve ever had food from this place. I found hair in the huge plate of rice & beans. I was so mad Also, I was given a very small portion of turkey compared to the huge plate of rice. I feel like the lady gave me what was left over and charged me $15 for a plate of Turkey. It cost $18 for a plate of oxtails across the street at Flames. Makes no sense. Never going back.

Customer service was trash. I was assured my order would be ready quickly but I was still waiting twenty minutes later. Rice and beans tasted funny. My food was poorly packaged causing sauce to leak everywhere. No AC and very poor ventilation in the establishment. The curtain was left open long enough for me to see a large exposed pot of sauce on a bottom shelf. The shelf must’ve been three inches from the floor. My first and last time here.

Food is average but service is rude and disrespectful. I actually was a Saturday customer, no cooking at home on Saturdays’, instead of going far I order from Ella’s Kitchen for convenience, the food is okay, not great but okay a few times the food is either salty or not enough spice but I usually just put up because of convenience however the counter lady make it seem like she’s doing customers a favor or giving food for free, she is rude disrespectful and disgusting. I WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN THAT PLACE AGAIN. I’ll just go elsewhere where my money is needed. STAY AWAY FROM ELLA’S KITCHEN

It is ZERO frills and you’d be better off if you speak Haitian Creole. Communicating was difficult but I said rice and beans? And she said chicken or turkey. I ordered chicken with rice and beans and she disappeared behind the curtain. Reviewers complained that it took 20 minutes and mine might have, but I viewed that as cooked fresh. When I got home and opened the container there was a lot of food. I asked if it was gluten free (which my wife requires) but I’m not sure we connected on that. My wife and I shared it. Rice and beans done right. And well seasoned moist chicken with lettuce and a fresh tomato slice. I thought the fried things were plantains but maybe is was tasso. It came with some sauce on the side which might have been the highlight but my wife said it tasted very spicy so I just passed. I enjoyed it for a change and although not fancy it tasted fresh and I felt like I shared authentic food. I’ll definately go back and try other things after I brush up on my Creole.
