My favorite food (of all time) is a lamb/beef Gyro. I’ve tried them all over the country and in different parts of the world. My absolute favorite is still Gyro House in Portland/Beaverton. That said, this is, IMO, the best Gyro in town. It’s simple, great tzatziki sauce, fresh vegetables and the meat isn’t overly fatty (spongy). The bread is fluffy and doesn’t feel or taste like thawed out frozen pita bread. At first glance, I almost walked away-given the line…but it went surprisingly fast. After getting through the line, I was served the gyro in less than 4 minutes. Well done! The family will be back again.
