This is it. Real good Dominican food. My mom was a cook at an OG Caridad restaurant and this is the type of food she’d make. They don’t take shortcuts with how the chicken is baked and seasoned. Had Chuleta frita and it was amazinggg. Had ensalada de pulpo which was a bit overpriced in my opinion for a small ($30) but solid as well. I order delivery regularly and dine in occasionally with friends. They also have mojito a sauce that you drip over your food and LOTS of Latin takeout places omit this from their menu. The sauce is vital!! Thank you for keeping traditional Dominican cooking alive.

My cousin and myself went in the lady with the green light eyes gave us a dirty look as soon as we went in so I just asked you have Moro she said yes but stood like she didn’t want to serve us we where so uncomfortable cause obvious she had. The food is bad and the Service is terrible. Ordered a T-Bone steak on the grill with a side of platains. I got sent something that looked like it was baked and really salty, additionally they forgot the side order. After beign sent the side order, the delivery guy calls me and tells me he cant come up because the bags are heavy and for me to come down or wait until he delivers the rest first. Like are you kidding me?

Today I went to buy some Mangu, they wouldn’t let me eat it in the restaurant because the one I was buying was a small one and not a big one. They lady wouldn’t even consider the reality that it was 9 Fahrenheit degree outside, that all the tables in the restaurant were empty and that I told her I wouldn’t be able to finish the large mangu if I buy it.

I do not understand where this bad reviews are coming from! It must be the competition because I ordered from Grubhub and the food was hot and delicious and the delivery was fast and courteous. Their sancocho, cocido and arroz blanco are delicious. The only thing that surprised me is that the soups don’t come with rice like before but they’re not the only ones it’s every restaurant. Also their prices are very reasonable compared to the other places. I will definitely order from them again.

Horribly salted food. Rotisserie chicken is completely engulfed in salt. You get a little bit of chicken with your salt, it’slike they soaked it in salt water for a week. Rice is pretty much the same, full of salt and I received a small serving of bean sauce, hardly any beans. Won’t be ordering from this place again!

What will eventually be the downfall of this restaurant is the front staff, rude for no reason and they really do not grasp the concept of customer service. If your customer orders a black Coffee and if it’s so strong that’s literally undrinkable your response should’ve be “oh well you should’ve ordered it light” or “oh well I cannot the deduct it from my bill because I already brought it out” it’s not about the coffee its about the unnecessary rude response. How many bad reviews on the rudeness of the front staff is the owner or manager of this establishment going to allow before they actually do something about it?

0/5 stars, these women are ALL VERY rude. It’s sad to say because I’m Dominican which i can safely assume most of the employees are too. I went today to buy some beans and a small container of bacalao (which is a smaller lid than buying a small container of beans). They charged me $22 in total ($14.00 for the bacalao) which is pretty close to buying a whole combo that feeds a family of 3. I politely asked if i can get a return on the fish and they all started gaining up on me with different excuses so that i can just leave. I asked to speak to the manager and what’s the manager’s availability and they responded to me “confused” as if they don’t know the owner of the restaurant. Also when the one lady handed me my money she threw it on the counter ! I will NEVER spend not $1 at this restaurant again. They’re so nasty when we are spending our hard earned money for their pricey food.

I kept ordering from this place. Many bad experiences, yesterday was the last straw. They sold me a piece of flan with a large mold!!! And another dessert that looked just as old probably! Guy manager had the audacity to tell me he couldn’t give me my money back; and said its the company who makes it fault! I told him when the Health Department comes, they’re inspecting this restaurant, the company gets their own inspection! Then he kept talking about a receipt, when they do cash money exchange without a receipt all the time! He didn’t even extend an apology or offer something else instead! After a back and forth, and I pointed out, why don’t you take them all out the fridge and check how many have a mold, he picked up a phone call and signaled one of the ladies to just give me back the money! They dont throw them out after 3 days! They keep the old food for the sake of profit! And i am pregnant almost due! It’s the principle what if I would’ve started eating old rotten food and realized late! I forgot to take a picture! SHAME ON THEM!
